    Youngsters you have no clue how good Jordan was. I saw every game he played and it's not even close. As great as Kareem, Kobe, Magic, LeBron and Durant are and were, Jordan was just better. Better shooting, passing, defense, rebounding, IQ, heart, and impact globally. Jordan could have averaged a Quadruple double easily but decided 6-0 in the finals was much more important. Jordan could have shot 3's but understood the art of war and wanted to demoralize his opponent. Jordan got slammed to the floor probably 10 times every game and NEVER complained, Never took a game off and Never made excuses Never joined a super team, but took his lumps and finally won his rings. Jordan had one perennial all star in Pippen throughout his entire career. Rodman was past his prime when he came to the bulls. It's an insult to even mention someone who has lost more than he has won. Lebron lost and this is even with him hand picking his super teams. Are you kidding? Guess greatness is defined by participation. Give me a break! Jordan was the best shot blocking guard, best steal guard, best rebounding guard, best scoring guard, best defensive guard, most effecient, and best fundamentally sound guard ever.

    • @identifyyourself5684
      @identifyyourself5684 4 ปีที่แล้ว +37

      He chose not to shoot 3's , that's not the same as a weakness , he dropped 30-60 points on the regular using the 2 point basket game and drawing fouls here and there. Taking 1-2 threes a game was by choice , when he was insulted he broke finals half game record for most 3s, almost like he waited to be insulted. MJ had no weaknesses , every facet of his game was a strength and that's not even over hyping his skills.

    • @jeffp9456
      @jeffp9456 4 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      Jordan didnt waste time with 3's. He imposed his will with his physicality. He got knocked on his ass 10 times a game a never complained to the ref. It was tougher to score due to hand checking and true post players that sat in the lane waiting to clobber you. It was more physical and harder to get an assist because the lane was clogged. Tougher to get a rebound because the lane was clogged with big men. The man was just better at ever aspect of basketball, period. Lebron, kobe, Durant are all great players, but the goat is Jordan. Lebron is top 5 and is absolutely amazing, but a team hopper. He couldn't wait and build a team, he had to find great players and team hop. How can you respect that? That weak man, punk s..t Kobe, jordan, magic, bird, all stayed home and earned their rings. They took their lumps, losses, and eventually won a ring. No joining an enemy...thats weak...

    you take jordan for granted...until you watch this video at how quick he got off the floor to dunk....he was dunking over everybody....and, i am talking against the big boys in size....most of the guys playing today, would not have been able to withstand the punishment jordan withstood driving down the lane...he played during a time when "hard fouls" were a way of life....jordan played both ends of the floor with equal intensity....no one was better!

I watched the entire Jordan era and he is the GOAT for so many reasons, he just wanted more and more thrown at him, he wanted to take on the best every night and his game rose to a new level every time he was challenged. No one in a long time will cover all of the attributes and have a career like MJ. He was simply the best and known by all people around the world as the best. No current or past NBA player has influenced all types of sports people like MJ. Everyone wanted to be like Mike. Such an awesome time to think back to.

    Pre-retirement Jordan had super human explosiveness. When he came back from retirement, he was still amazing, but didn't have that same explosiveness. He actually still seemed fairly explosive in the Orlando series when he first came back, but he wasn't quiet as explosive after that. He put on a lot of bulk, which might have effected his lift.

    • @boogieloo1831
      @boogieloo1831 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      mikem987 - he had the explosiveness but definitely had a little less "boing" in his bounce. Or he just tried to attack that way a little less. Definitely the extra weight affected him but that was intentional - he became even more unstoppable in the post with his consistency with his shooting.
