Phillip’s wide and “proper tempo” vibrato is probably my favorite part of his playing … I’m amazed that he’s not more recognized in mainstream popularity. Sad that such talent is not rewarded. Thank you Phillip for continuing to kick ass
Personally I'd like to know how he keeps that strat in tune with that vibrato and deep bending..not to mention the use of the whammy from time to time..simply amazing 👏
To me, he has the best vibrato in the game. I’ve been practicing his style daily for about a year now but still cant even get close to his accuracy, speed and aggression.
@@liamlecool Agreed! JoBo and Greg Koch are my other favorites, but Sayce has so much raw energy and he channels Hendrix and SRV so well. I will see him every chance I get.
Great band as usual, and Phillip Sayce wails harder than any blues rock player, totally rivals Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray V. in my opinion. New album is really good "The Wolves are Coming"
Imagine living in this life without knowing or appreciating this absolute mastery.

A lot of SRV there but a fantastic player with so much intensity and soulfulness.
Well said jerbanta.

damn he's good. On songs like this he rivals Stevie himself. So heavily underrated. A guitar god among mortals
I was at this show!!! Even with his amp facing the wall, it was LOUD!!!! And glorious. He should be playing in Madison Square Garden!!
I’m surprised he’s not deaf yet. My tinnitus didn’t enjoy me going to see him live, but he was the best guitarist I’ve ever seen on stage !!!

Yep, heavy relic'ed by self, on this one!!!!
Is he playing a Rory Gallagher limited edition?
Awesome.... even though the drums and the bass are buried in the mix.
Sayce sounded a bit rusty during covid, but he sounds better than ever nowadays!
