Thanks for the review. I was only able to catch a couple episodes of Defenders when I was a kid. It left me jonsing like a crack fiend. I can’t get enough of the designs, and colors of the entire show.
@planet6288 Thank you for your comment! Have you watched the show since? You can watch the full 66 episodes on the Comics Kingdom TH-cam account - th-cam.com/play/PLgkKj2n1LjA-lPLkDT8SxsiWo7wCOFFPy.html
Do you guys think in the daily stories that Kadia Sahara is being set up as the future love interest of Kit? It's possible that this has been foreshadowed for quite sometime, as is potentially evident from the storyline "The Twins' Futures." After Kit decides to study in the Himalayas (giving one of his reasons being he doesn't have a girlfriend in America). Heloise says that she's sure one of her new friends she makes at her all-girls boarding school to be 'the girl of Kit's dreams.' Then in the very next storyline "Farewell to the Deep Woods," Kadia is introduced as Heloise's roommate, and ultimately becoming her bestfriend. Finally in the storyline "The Journey Home," Heloise is eager to introduce Kadia to Kit. There is also sort of a poetic nature to the potential romance, with Kit being the son of the Phantom and Kadia being the daughter of the Nomad (both fathers being enemies). It's almost Shakespearean, like Romeo and Juliet being lovers while their families, the Montagues and the Capulets, being sworn enemies. And Lee Falk was a huge Shakespeare enthusiast, having many Shakespearean themes in his stories. It could be that Tony DePaul could continue with such themes.
