Magic Sam's Sweet Home Chicago Guitar Lesson

This is another "back to basics" video. A couple of years back I took a look at Luther Tucker's solo on a live version of Sweet Home Chicago. As great as that version is, I probably should have started with Magic Sam's version as a bedrock for playing real blues. Every two bars Sam is in a different position playing something simple, but awesome. I spent the first part of the lesson talking about the Mighty Joe Young rhythm part-- Try using a pick and dialing in a nice contrasting rhythm guitar tone and loop it. Then use your fingers and play really loosely to shoot for the Magic Sam feel.
