Best Real Estate tips on TH-cam. Excellent video. Many times i have to shoot flats like this in London,i use the same way to do it. Sometimes i get very lazy and i use different exposures. Thanks Nathan !
Nice! I like the color neutralize under the color match method. Never thought to do that. I was desaturating duplicated patches. This seems much faster. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Nathan, I want to thank you for sharing. I just started getting into real estate photography, and my biggest challenge was using photoshop for blending ther images. I'm happy to say that through your videos, I am using ps and having success. I'm still learning but rewatching the videos I'm getting better. Thanks!
Thanks Victor. If I might, I'd suggest taking a look at my advanced editing e-book, which cuts to the chase to show PS techniques used for real estate photography, versus the plethora of things that PS can do. You can check it out at www.amazon.com/dp/B0779PCVWC
I do, but with validation, and exteriors are different. I talk about that more in the books www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078NLRKNM/?ie=UTF8&redirect=true&ref_=series_rw_dp_labf
I have been struggling with those orange areas when I use luminosity so thanks so much for this tip on how to fix it. I have bought the books.....now to find time to read them.
Hi Nathan, this is the best video I've seen from you in ages. Mainly because it deals with a topic that frequently gives me headaches. Being in England, I get a lot of cottages with beams! I basically have the same method as you, but i often get those weird orange artefacts. I've been duplicating the ambient layer and putting into normal mode, but the trick I didn't know about was the Color Match > Neutralise. I'm definitely going to try that! Also, have you tried bouncing flash off a white sheet on the floor to get more even light on the ceiling? I've just bought a sheet to give it a go to solve this problem.
Super nice techniques. I have worked with way too complicated techniques to accomplish this. Do you shoot tethering on site and make a quick compositing before you leave the set or are you comfortable leaving without that control?
Your page is great I've taken away so much.........so thanks. I think I've "liked" every video on you page. All of your books are great as well.

I have so many houses just like that. Beamed ceilings, reflective floors, long rooms with bright windows in one area and dark in the other. Thank you.

Thanks Mark. I've thought about the white sheet trick, but given time constraints onsite I haven't done it...yet ;)

Thanks! I never shoot tethered. See my e-book on shooting interiors for my detailed setup: www.amazon.com/dp/B0755KXSL4
