My thoughts wayyy back. The plot was so similar. I really hoped it was more like leora fought the frontlines while Elaine fought the in the background. And at the end of the day they were just regular sisters.
Well, the vi-jinx dynamic isn’t much of a cliche anyway.
Down to the static and graphity animation and color palette. Girls really ought not to abandon their unstable little sisters for the world to turn them evil

“I wish the NIGHT would never end” isn’t just Elaine’s paralelle to Nyx, the Greek Goddess of the Night, who is possessing her. Elaine is literally wishing that the dawn Leora spoke of would never come. She once wanted her to be by her side forever. Dusk and Dawn-Nyx and Leora.
What’s more, I LOVE how Elaine and Nyx also contradict each other with key components of their outfits and skill sets. While Leora has four shields, Elaine has four swords. She is constantly on the offense in their fight, aiming to kill Leora while Leora only defends herself and her past actions.
I love this cinematic! Amazing work from the Dislyte team once again!

@@53Spawn While not exactly original in the kind of story of "once siblings become enemies," it was original in its execution and style. This game seems to be taking literal scenes from Arcane without any identity of its own. It is one thing to recreate a popular scene and another to just borrow bits and pieces throughout and pretending it's your own. Barely any stories are fully original anymore, but this is a shameless copy.

That was amazing!! There are so many cool Details in this cinematic... The recurring birthdays of Elaine and the fact that Athena was shown with a snake instead of an owl (which is like the go-to animal of Athena in media usually...)
Also awesome to get the voiceactors listed in the Credits. Overall awesome cinematic and incredible quality, especially considering that Dyslite is a mobile game!

Encore un sublime travail du côté artistique !! Les quelques frames coloré en 2D rendent tellement bien et rappelle la D.A du jeu c'est parfait, j'espère tellement voir ce jeu devenir de plus en plus populaires pour pourquoi pas un jour d'autre jeu dans l'univers de Dislyte (un jeu de combat fait par arc system par exemple mais je prendrai n'importe quoi d'autre)
Alors, juste le "sublime travail artistique" c'est de pompé Arcane sans honte
A lot of the people in the comments seem to have forgotten that Embla was once a sincerely kind-hearted and selfless person.
Her current self is only the result of her Esper powers causing her to forget about the things and people in her life and leaving her with a desire for destruction to fill in the void left behind by her memory loss.
