Hey Bro, congrats on what you are doing. I grew up in a commercial bee keeping family and you are headed in the right way but I want to offer some tips.
You can simply use 120 out of a wall socket as this was the power we used. One side of the current we ran through a bottle of water. An electrode in and another one out. You simply add just a pinch of salt and dissolve the salt. Not enough current? Add more salt. Too much current? Even simpler. Just add more water to take down the salt concentration. When you are comfortable with how fast the wire heats up then you are good to go. You can make a jib with a spring and a hinge using a board that fits inside your frame. Have a couple contacts that you can press the wires against near the brads you use to fasten the wires. The contacts can be under the hinged board. One contact goes to the saline solution set up and the other goes straight to the wall plug. One of those contacts will be to a brass screw aligned with a brass contact that goes to either the wall or the saline. Then, pressing your wires over the wax foundation making sure you have contact on your metal contacts near the brads, press the hinged board and frame till you make contact with your brass contacts below. Wire will heat up, melt through the wax half way and pull up breaking contact with power. Let the wax and wire cool while maintaining enough pressure to hold it in place. It's just a second or so and it cools down. You can now remove your completed frame. You might also want to dust your board with corn starch to prevent the wax foundation from sticking. In this way you can electrify your entire frame. Just make sure when you are holding this down to not let your hand contact the wires or you will get a bit of a burn.

I just got my swarm hive/trap today and I also came across Thomas’ video! I was very appreciative of it then came to your Chanel to see what you’d done! 😁

Nice trick 👌 I have several old computer cords lying around. Was waiting to see which cord you cut (before or after the transformer) 😆

If you take some cardboard and cut it where it just fit inside the frame may need two or three pieces just enough to pick the frame up off the floor then do it and it shouldn't burn through it should melt in that's how I do mine and I haven't had too many issues with it cutting all the way through the wax

Horizontal hive sucks: Honey bees build their hives vertically and not horizontally.

You're so,so wrong about that. Horizontal hives are fantastic.
