Great Video! This is bleeding edge tech! Hopefully you will get some hands on with the Oppo Find X. It is also quite bleeding edge. Vivo is definitely proving that "Chinese Phones" can be ahead of the so called flagships, (which are mostly made in China, with the exception of Samsung/LG).

Can that dedicated button be remapped. I think its an awesome phone all the way around. The only reason I use Nova Launcher, etc. Is if I can't use a device's launcher the way I would like. How customizable is that launcher? Its pricing in my opinion is spot on. It defines premium and its design a fresh take on the same old stuff out there

actually to have nova launcher you don't need vivo account cause I tried and it didn't work and I ended up disabling vivo launcher via Adb which is very easy on my x21UD and that allowed me to still have nova launcher. P.S I made sure to backup the vivo launcher app apk via app extractor just in case I want to go back.
Wasn't expecting the issue with the launcher, it's definitely cooled my enthusiasm for this otherwise cool and very innovative phone, that manages to keep the headphone jack. I hope Vivo releases updates to correct that, and then doesn't include it if they eventually release the phone to other countries.

Hi, you're right. Speakers are important. I usually do do a speaker test in almost all my vids but forgot for this one. My apologies. To answer your question though, the nex has a single bottom firing speaker that is mediocre.

BanterEdits nowadays phone companies just want bigger screens, when phones are completely bezelless in the next 12 - 18 months and they can hide all the components behind the screen, you will see a 7" phone screen no doubt. I remember when 5.7" was considered huge, too big. Now that's seen as mid sized.
Well it has no notch but the bezzle ont he bottom looks bigger than on the phones with a notch. I think the next step will be reducing this bezzle at the botton. But the Phone looks like future none the less.
CGPhotoKandou as someone who owns the vivo nex, the chin isn't that big. Certainly not nearly as big as a notch. That's for sure. But it's there, it's definitely there. But 91.2% screen to body ratio is phenomenal so it doesn't bother me.

Yes it is. Findx has some issues with their sliding front camera. It has started to make noise and material seems weak.
So big! Better then findx cos of the indisplay fingerprint scanner
I like the nex much more because of the price, but if the find x was the same price I would go with oppo, as it has a face scanner

HT L I think at the time TH-cam wasn't optimized for the phone, every video for me doesn't have that extra black bar by the chin. And I'm on the nex.

Well, this phone is only available in China so it is quite easy to just get a chinese sim on the way buying this phone.

No, it doesn't work on the nex. This is a new thing vivo did. I had the x21 and put nova on that fine without account. But with nex you need account.
