Lori has there ever been a review on Altra shoes? I’m curious for any client feedback. Especially, relating to pelvic discomfort.✌🏽thank you

Does the kayano 30 and 31 one have same qualities? Can i wear 30 instead of 31?

I bought the Asics GT 2000 a few weeks ago after seeing your list and they've been amazing for me! I tried on nearly every shoe on the list (plus some more that the Fleet Feet guy grabbed me since I didn't want to be rude) and it's the only shoe that made me feel stable and supported. I've been wearing solely barefoot shoes for about 6 years and the GT 2000 is perfect for giving me more support without making me feel like I'm on stilts or being pushed around.

Lori I’m loving my new Kayanos from the shoe list. My socks have a tendency to shift downwards. Basically, the heel portion eats my socks. I’m wearing standard ankle socks. Not the low cut type. How do I prevent that

Hi there, on the shoe list it has a category for "high arch" does that mean the shoe is good for people with a high arch, or that the shoe itself has a high arch support? Anyone know??

That category we recommend for people with a high arched foot who need help learning to repronate their foot. (so less arch support in the shoe)

Why do some brook ghost 16 not have the extra layer? Mine also say nitrogen injected?

Just wondering, what do you think of the footwear that OrthoFeet sell? Any good?
    Thanks!

Personally I was intrigued with the adjustable insoles that come with the Orthofeet shoes. I have had a few older ladies use them. The shoes (that I have seen) are just ok. Decent (not terrible but not great) heel counters. So for the right individual (particularly the older population) they can do alright. As with all brands there are some models that are better than others so take each shoe and examine it for qualities that help your patients. And above all else test your patients out in them.

@@HruskaClinic Thank you for your time and effort in replying to my post and for your shoe list in general! I am not a PT. I am a PT patient. From my experience wearing OrthoFeet footwear, I agree with your neutral rating and statement that: “As with all brands there are some models that are better than others…”. I purchased one model that I liked very much and purchased more of and another model that I did not care for and returned. By the way, I am an older patient, and my kids definitely let me know that - at least the specific model that I wear - is definitely not in style.

Wore the Kayano 30 for about a month or so, loved it, but quickly got better and out grew it, so went to the GT 2000 v12, which was another amazing shoe from asics, able to feel more ground than the kayano, but have also improved in my feet and outgrew that one as well in about two months. Going to give the Dyad 11 a shot for ground sense and if that doeasnt work, possibly the ghost 16. Right arch specifically has been dramatically improving and in the process, i didnt need that medial support on the left and it was causing more harm than good

Did the GT2000 feel stiff to you? They feel stiff around the ankle and wonder if they will soften up
