- Welcome back everyone to another video, today we are installing the LED light kit to the Traxxas 1/16 E-Revo VXL. The installation process should take you under 10min. Below are the parts used in this video along with a link to where you can purchase them.
The ProLine Trenchers are a great option for the mini E-Revo. I’ve also heard Slash tires would be another great choice.

Nice video on the kit and installation. Exactly what i was looking for.
Great to hear!
Appreciate the content 👌🏻
I think you have the bumpers reversed. I believe the curved bumper should be in the front to contour with the body. I have the same car and lights. I left my wheely bar on and just zip-tied the bumper to the wing support. I love the car.
I just noticed that thank you, and that’s a good idea. On 3s it needs the wheelie bar
Excelente video. Puedes compartir el número de parte de las ruedas que usas. Gracias
Thank you, #PRO119411 Trenchers by ProLine
Any chance you can do a video on the telemetry installation
Sorry for the late response, I believe we will install the telemetry. Keep you posted on when
Ditch the wheelie bar, get a center diff.
Center diff would benefit off roading correct? But it would hurt your arials on the ramp.
@@LilBITRC_Shady Actually, it doesn’t effect flips at all. I though so, too until I installed mine. And yes, does help with off-roading
We were thinking about, only $25
I want these lights but I don't wanna ditch the big RPM bumpers
Lights are cool, but if you are gonna bash DONT. The lights will get ruined. We had to remove them from the MAXX because the wires broke. They are great to have, but they are not durable.
you mention that it doesnt have some light settings in the traxxas app, but can you at least turn the lights on and off with it or are they always on if the car is on?
Haven’t checked we always leave them on. But there are off toggles. Depending on model you’re supposed to be able to change the light options for braking, reverse, etc.
@@redbanditracing yeah I know some of the more advanced features need the pro lighting module but I wasn't sure if this kit has at least basic on and off. I have the light kit but no link module yet so i can't test it.
Thanks for the vids, been helping me learn about and make changes to my new revo
@@redbanditracing did you notice a difference in run time after adding?
Not really, I don’t believe it draws a lot power. I’ll check the light options and get back to you.
@@redbanditracing right on thank you!
Center diff? I’d gear down and get that merv doing backflips
First lol
