whenever I hear this song, I imagine in my head that there are three of me. My Adolescent self (around 11), my middle aged self (23), and my elder self (35). My old self and middle aged self are about to fight while our younger version looks on. Of course, the young one doesn't want us to fight, but the middle aged one is so disappointed and in disbelief as to what the eld one has become. While the eld Me is in total understanding, driven not at all by hatred or disdain, but a sort of acceptance. We duel with swords, wind blowing everywhere as we have a mexican stand off with blades in hand. Cogs and lightning surrounding us like the inner workings of a powerful clock. And thus begins the cycle as to why the young one becomes the eld one, becoming the very thing he sought not to be. You could almost equate it to the A2 and 2B fight, except its more of an internal fight.
