Wuthering Waves or Wuwa is a new game so it's common to get lost and not know how to get the best and fastest way to level up your Data Bank in Wuthering Waves as well as how to obtain the best Echoes in the most efficient way. I tried to explain everything and make rolling echos as easy as possible in #wutheringwaves

Save those healing bonus on 4 cost echos. They are the rarest drop next to Crit Dmg. We might get some life stealing dps in the future

the main problem its so hard to get exp echoes material.. u cant level up echoes with lvl 1 echoes,
well that's intentionally made since you can infinitely farm echoes so sealed tubes would have no purpose otherwise

it's been rumoured they'll increase the drop for echoes on 1.1, that's why we also get double drop for tacet field on around 20 this month

if they don't give crit rate/dmg substate Fom first try, just recycle them... hard to farm? level up & lower your rank level's from setting & go farm!!
I’ve watch a few other videos with the same tips, but the more videos there are with the same information the better it spreads.

Alsp boys, take in consideration ehat your character does, I have Taoqi s5 so she can ult every cycle, so appart from cr and cd, liberation dmg bonus is good and def too so I can ult every rotation with more dmg

For 4 cost echoes, always go for double crit stats. You're griefing yourself otherwise
Yeah they're easier to farm too since the bosses spawn infinitely

4:10 Additional correction tips : Much better if you starts with level level 10 instead of level 5 because having 1 bad substats is normal but having two or three bad substats is completely trash so always starts to have 2 tunes to see if the echo is really trash or not, bad substats mostly popup at your first tune and having 1 bad substats is the averages you can get for echo. Example my echo have crit rate, crit damages, liberation, heavy attack and FLAT DEF (garbages, it’ll be much better if its percentage not flat def) and all of my echo always have 1 singular bad substats, despite of them having double crit there is always 1 bad substats so getting 5/5 perfect all substats is very rare unless you’re really lucky, what im trying to say is 4/5 is normal so if you got 1 bad substats continue the tune BUT IF YOU GOT DOUBLE BAD SUBSTATS stop immediately and dispose that echo, eventho you got double crit in that echo it’s still bad, not worth the risk tho it could end up in a bad situation where you got 3 bad substats.
yeah you can start with level 10 too but if you wanna be extra safe then you can go with 5. but you're 100% right you always get 1 bad substat unless you're super lucky. I feel like when it comes to Echos it's more about how much time you have. There is also nothing wrong with using 3/5 good substat echos since the game is still pretty new and you will get better Echos eventually :D

For the 4 cost echoes you can get double crit stat, so like if the main stat is crt rate you can get a crt rate sub stat if your lucky, I got 2 4 cost echoes like that with crit rate main stat and crit rate substat

Good info, although for me it's okay to get bad substats after tuning an echo cause i'm not after high damage, just playing for fun etc

actually flat ATK substat isnt a bad roll at all, its more interesting than dmg% substats except for extreme cases like jinhsi who deals nearly only resonance skill dmg

Good guide but the only thing that threw me off is that you say to lower the world level when farming echoes but also say you get less drops.
Oh sorry I should've made it more clear so basically when you defeat some monsters they have drops but I wouldn't really worry about that since you can always farm those later and you will have more then you need if you keep on farming Echos and if you need a higher rarity drop then you can just craft it using the lower tier ones. Also don't claim any overworld bosses when you lower your world level. but again only lower your world level if you plan on farming Echos that day since you can only change your world level every 12 hours :)

4:25 honestly I haven't had much of an issue getting tuners, it's more of an issue for me just getting the experience to level them up. I finished all the quests and now I'm in an echo exp drought.
You can't use purple tuners for gold echoes, so early game you might as well just farm out a decent team of purples since we can't combine tuners yet and it's probably not going to be a thing until like 1.5
It's still a good idea to start with a few good gold echoes and level them fully even if you're not going to tune them because just from the base stats it will usually be better than whatever purples you're using. I have a bunch of echoes maxed out just so that I can switch them between characters in the tower. You only really need five good echoes of each element since you can re-equip them between floors. Get a good gold, level it, and then use the extra power from that gold to farm more golds that you'll actually tune

Well ideally if you're a very picky person like i do, i want a double crit subs on the first two subs then we can go on to lvl up to +25. But the chances are microscopically small, i will end up in a mental institutions before i get 5 echoes with double crit subs on the first two roll.😂
yeah lmao to save your brain and time 1 bad substat is fine only the lucky 1%ers have the godly 5/5 perfect substats xD the game is still pretty new so don't burn yourself out :)

I have always trashed anything if the first substat is defense or hp so it saves me alot of resources

Bruh I killed the thundering mephis legit 94 times, and from the 20 gold echos I got, none of them had any crit value or atk% . On the other hand I got 26 crt dmg and 19 crt rates and 20 atk % purple echoes, imma stick to some purples for now...

A little note on the 2 star echoes, as far as I'm aware, 2 star echoes can't have substats, correct me if I'm wrong please.

You can actually get two same substats as that of the main stats
I have a gold violet feathered heron who have 2 atk main stats and 2 atk substats
Well 3 costs are going to always have flat attack below it, so you have a main atk%, an atk% sub and a flat atk sub.
Oh I thought i explained that at 1:33 basically if you get atk% as a sub stat then you can also get flat atk as a substat but you can't get the same thing twice so no flat atk + flat atk or atk% + atk% but you can do flat atk + atk% Sorry if I explained it badly D:

it didn't cross my mind that I could just farm the lowest difficulty of bosses or just lower sol-phase and still get the echo. Ive been out here doing the max difficulty and wasting time for farming echos. (or am i wrong?)
you can always do the lower difficuly bosses as long as you don't claim the rewards since they are less. but if you're only farming Echos then I would always do the lower difficulty ones. Once you reach Union level 40 you can't do the lowest difficulty dreamless boss so you'll have to do the 2nd lowest one :)

"1 cost echoes are the easiests to farm" it took me 3 days to roll a single 5 start 1 cost havoc echo with atk%
me still farming 3 cost rejuvenating glow hp% more than one week now. yeah, 1 cost is the easiest.

Oh I used game8.co/games/Wuthering-Waves/archives/454217 but I would recommend watching Character build videos on youtube they explain the entire kit and it's easier to understand there.

rejuvination healing bonus is not a joke bro (i cant even counted again how many attempts we have to get that, fortunetly luck is on my side but not with my friend, (he still dont get it yet)
I got my first 5* gold echo on geocheolone with healing bonus and rejuvenation.
And have 3 of them now, ur friend is just had at the game that the game rejects him

For the life or me I will never understand the trend of content creators using that huge 14 size font for closed caption. Also why only use one word at a time?
If it's for attention span you would be better of throwing those loud memes and interjecting some booba joke in the video every 10 seconds.
If it's for actual closed caption then it shouldn't be only one word maybe try a half to a full sentence.

at union lvl 42 and data bank level max, i feel like looking for common echo (1 cost echo) is much harder than 4 cost echo.....

I know its a matter of resources optimization but I just leveled up a Crit Dmg echo all the way up to 25... 1st Roll was Def, 2nd Roll Energy Recharge, 3rd roll Atk%, 4th roll crit rate, 5th roll Crit Damage so it ends up being a good echo after all. I mean its RNG and I would like to take this advice but I don't have the time to be farming echoes until the first roll give me the stat I'm looking for
Even if you're not going to tune the echo just getting that extra stat boost from leveling it up is usually enough to make some decent progress. The game just came out, we don't need perfect echoes yet, we just need decently strong ones to push in the tower and make farming easier

Pro tip: focus on your skill stats later🗿
I always do my skills first because they are guaranteed instead of rolling for Echo substats I mean the Echo substats also scale off your skills. Unless you mean to not farm them at lower union levels then you're right :)

Rolling the first substat and seeing it's not a useful one and stopping there is actually not the most efficient leveling process. I've done a combinatorial analysis of what's the cost you can expect using various different criteria. Let's say you want to have at least 3 useful stats (no DEF%, DEF, HP%, HP rolls) and 2 of them has to be CR and CD. It turns out that it's always best to take the echo to lvl 25, provided that the end condition can still be satisfied every step of the way. What I mean by that is if your first 2 rolls are useless stats, you should still continue to roll for the third roll, because you are allowed 2 useless stats in the aforementioned requirement. If your third roll is another useless stat, then you stop, because your criteria can no longer be satisfied as you can only get 2 useful stats and not 3. You will save much more this way than just unlocking 1 substat and throwing it away when it's not useful.
I feel like if they increase the amount of xp and tuners in the next version then you can level more Echos but I do see what you mean Thanks for sharing your input I will keep that in mind when i make a video on the echo changes with the next version :D

@@Krows. No problem. To give you some numbers to work with. Using a criteria of CR and CD must be present, and one of the rolls must be either ATK%/ATK/ER, then unlocking 3 substats and seeing they aren't the rolls you want, you'd need on avg 983400 echo exp, 2032 tuners and 95.3 tries. Compared to taking it to 5 rolls, you'd need on avg just 563531 echo exp, 463 tuners and 11.8 tries. Given that you need to hunt for the correct main stat which takes time, especially the 3 costs, a much shorter "chain" is desirable.
Keep in mind that you'd still want to unlock substats one at a time like you mentioned in your video, just that you'd keep going until the end condition can no longer be satisfied, instead of stopping early. So in this example, you can always unlock 3 substats first no matter what, and then unlock 1 at a time after.
Since 1.1 dropped I tried enhancing +20 on echoes since cost less Credits now so its efficient to +20 now to check roll

Its actually been calculated. If you only do what you are. You are missing out on a 60% more of a chance to get desired stats if you goto lvl 20 with them. :x so by only stopping at the 1st bad roll your missing more then half on the full roll that gets you possible desired stats even with the 1st bad roll. No offence but unless you got the math to show it your misinforming anyone who watches this and listens. Go watch sweetily if anyone here really wants a better understansing as they have done thousands of echos and have much more detailed info on all of this. Misinformation at the start of these kinds of games can ruin it for new players please keep that in mind when posting this to thousands of your vieweres.

nothing helps when literally every single roll is garbage trash. think i tried 10 times for a piece to get crit rate and every time its HP, DEF, flat attack or something equally trash. the game is fun but echo farming is literally the most unfun thing ive done in any game in a long time. its like getting a plate of delicious food when you are starving but someone put a giant turd as garnish, i want to eat cause im hungry but now i gotta deal with poop smell. disgusting design
dont bother farming thundering memphis on ur calcharo lol, or u'll regret. trust me xD, go for tempest memphis instead

@reapers861 yes thundering memphis have the biggest damage among all echo, but, the animation and the bonus from active skill echo took so long to procs. At bigboss lvl (tower/holograms), you need to dodge, or else you'll dead in one wipe, meanwhile, your echo animation haven't done yet. So what? Whats the purpose of using the echo if u can't maximize the potential of it? So yeah, Tempest is much better, maximum potential at all times. +thundering will attack way too random at bunch of enemies, jumping right left front and back, too crazy and uncontrolable.
But it gives heavy atk dmg bonus which is useless for calcharo@@Archael5

The fact that everyone is wasting their echo exp and then surprised they have no resources because they levelled the worst echos imaginable is just so surprising to me.
These are the people complaining that there is not enough echo exp to go around...like what are you guys doing? Levelling everything to 25 and wondering why you have no exp or something?
In the game there is only enough exp to take 3 chars echoes to 25.(all their echoes) so 15 echoes.
That is not a lot and the method of obtaining currently sucks.

You can farm your entire world and other people's worlds as well if you really wanted too.

Also, it's funny how I already have more then enough exp to max an entire echo set and then some despite taking many echos to level 5, fishing for crit stats.
Again, stop wasting all your echo exp...
Your flaw is expecting everyone to know what to do.
Everyone gets handed so much xp they think they can level anything. It is not like the game warns them to spend xp wisely. At Union 20, things take longer to kill so of course they gonna level stuff especially when the guide book tells you to.
"These are the people complaining that there is not enough echo exp to go around...like what are you guys doing? Levelling everything to 25 and wondering why you have no exp or something?" - They levelling everything to 25 and wondering how to get more while others wonder why tacet fields gives so little.

Good video, but one tip for subtitles is to not just put what we are immediatelly hearing but the whole last phrase within the same context,
like at 3:44
instead of
"if you guys
watch
that
video
then
you'll
have
like
a ton
of
these"
could be a single or double line
"if you guys watch that video
you'll have like a ton of these"
It will probably make it easier to people who do need subtitles to read.
Thank you so much for this Valuable tip I actually read your comment a few days ago but forgot to reply in my recent video I tried to talk slower + add more words to the subtitles thank you again for bringing that to my attention I don't know how I didn't think of that or why nobody else told me. With my Accent I have to have subtitles so that people understand me and if they don't even understand the subtitles then I'm doomed xD
