- In this video, we take a look at the Louis Vuitton Speedy P9 Monogram Leather Bandoulière 40. As part of Pharrell’s debut Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 24 collection, the creative director ensured that the collection had a wide variety of unique accessories to pair with this new era following Virgil Abloh’s phenomenal tenure at the house. These colourful Speedy Bags has been one of the first time's LV has taken this leather, vibrant approach to the bag.
They describe it as follows:
Working with naturally supple grained calfskin, Creative Director Pharrell Williams has given this Speedy P9 Monogram Leather Bandoulière 40 bag a super-soft feel. The Monogram is printed on bright leather in a high-end silk-screen technique that perfectly reproduces the almost blurry effect of Monogram printed on canvas. This Speedy is fully lined with ultra-luxurious lambskin leather.

The colourful soft leather speedy bags hit very different. If not because my colour palette is black on black on black on black I might have saved up for a year and copped one that drops in a future collection.

Pharrell's LV speedy has definitely elevated the brand and LV monogram. Great craftmanship and quality. Looks beautiful and distinctly of the brand compared to other high end LV pieces. Love the fit and your appreciation for the vision!

Omg! I love the leather ones. I just purchased the red damier 18 one.
I think it's been clever of them to freshen up the Damier print. I feel like it had been a pretty stale print until lately
LOVE the colours! ❤ Those speeds needed updating but I wish ALL the monograms were diffused and illegible in tender with the new bright colour. I wish I could afford a 50 in orange or green.

They could always make more if they want to, but to my knowledge there’s around 1500 worldwide atm, and only 30 or so in the UK

I love the bags.. especially the green one. It just pains me to think that people are influenced to buy a $10k speedy😮. The leather costs less than $200 if that. How did you choose the colors and sizes? You didn't want two different sizes? Love the green, and I think either the blue or red, if I had to pick (because I think they pop more than the yellow). Plus I feel like the white monogram doesn't contrast enough from the yellow. Though it is a nice yellow. Debating about the damier pop, but kinda wanting to wait and see what they bring out next before committing to something. Unfortunately, LV comes out with new things every month! And the new Speedys (purple, turquoise, pink and taupe colored one)... I'm definitely loving those colors. I wish he would do some SLGs or other bags in that type of leather. 🤗🩵
