i thought the same thing. Worked in a boatyard much of my childhood. We made Menger Cats and used molds to pump out a few boats a month. Much more efficient than this. This is like traditional building with modern mats. Not sure how its in any way more efficient though.
Not only is it an inefficient building method, if you have ever owned a boat, you know that the wood in glass covered plywood eventually gets wet and rots.
Di Malaysia .... Pembuat/ pembina perahu atau kapal... Tidak perlu membuat rangkanya... Terus saja dibuat dinding perahu atau kapal ya.... Tempatnya Di pulau dayang,Terangganu,Malaysia... Datanglah.... Kalau mahu belajar....
Ok now let’s make one thing very clear. Engineers are university degree qualified professionals who may design boats but they certainly don’t build them. The building side is done by highly skilled trades people. Engineers are not tradies. Also there is nothing efficient about this build. 30 people running around to put a simple design together. Your workshop would be running at a loss I would say. Narration is also badly written. 3/10.
Second half with fiberglass construction gave me the willies…. My family was 50 years in FRP industry in the Seattle area, myself 20+ years manufacturing Polyester Resin Gel-Coat and other polyester resin products used in fiberglass construction…. I don’t miss it! But it provided my family and I a good life. Some well known customers: Bayliner Boats, Western RV, Nordlund, Delta Marine, Olympic Boats, Sun Runner, Westport Marine, and many other polyester resin related manufacturing use businesses.
Boats like this with deep Vee aft at the transom are inefficient. The flatter the bottom at the transom, the faster and more efficient the hull. These were influenced unfortunately by the cigarette race boats of the past rather than the proper fishing hulls of the past. The best example of the combination of sharp V forward and flat bottom ft is South Jersey and Carolina sportfishing boats, which employ very sharp-or “fine”-frontal sections that gradually bleed into what is, for all intents and purposes, a flat surface at the transom. The best of these boats go fast and ride well because their designers have figured out how much V to employ forward, exactly when it should begin to flatten out, and how quickly.
Pengerjaan proses pembuatan kapal yang sangat teliti dengan hasil yang sempurna❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thanks perkonsian cara pembuatan perahu fiber glass sama boat steel
Should be titled "least efficient boat building methods"
Agree
Impressive video and craftsmanship
Very nice good job bro
How is this efficient? The number of steps and pieces involved is tremendous. Looks pretty conventional to me.

Terima kasih atas maklumat anda. Bolehkah anda mengambil video proses pembuatan bot di sana?
I thought the wood was only used to create a mold of the hull, this boat must be extremely heavy.
Final images cannot be see because pop ups block most the screen ffs

His voice sounds familiar. Mystery, Series Recapped? Movie recaps in general? Haha
No wonder they are so expensive given the capital and man-hours needed to build one.

I miss my Parker 2320. But it wasn’t near as awesome as the proline 32 express that replaced it!
So satisfying to see none of the boats complete. WTF.

Aluminium boat, the plate and frame is al aluminium
Hii
Stop saying “assembled by large panels”. You mean “assembled using large panels”. It is assembled “by” people. Bad English makes you sound ignorant.
boat has a poor entry and will slam, like a Bayliner, deadrise at Station 2 should be over 40 degrees
Just found this channel, looks good. Hope you don't get into the tictok knockoff formats.
****I see around 15 people scrabbling all over the place for 25 days…..it’s very INEFFICIENT and stupid method!!!!***((
Poor narration by someone who knows nothing about boat building.
Waste of kin time too slow
The AI or whatever it is commentating is 100% useless
