First time playing The Walking Dead Telltale
The Walking Dead is a fantastic show lead by Rick Grimes. Now it's time for Badd Medicine to dive into The Walking Dead games. The zombie apocalypse in the state of Georgia. Most of the characters are original to the game, which centers on convicted criminal Lee Everett who becomes a protective figure to a young girl, Clementine, and must help her find her parents.

They’re definitely getting the bad Kenny experience… which is unfortunate because Kenny is a really good character when you make the right decisions and work together.
Yeah which is a shame, they could have saved it if they left the lady at the beginning
kenny makes the game so much more fulfilling when he’s your friend. otherwise there’s no one to turn to, no one to have your back :(
yeah, but it's also just so frustrating how easy it is to lose Kenny. He's an amazing character in season 2, and pretty good throughout season 1 - but if you don't side with him on absolutely everything, he abandons you. I feel it's more on the game devs than the players.
Kenny is only a "good character" when you dickride him, this shows the flaws with the games writing and what they struggle with

All jokes aside, it really sucks that literally everything fell apart all because of Ben's deal with the bandits. The increased tension from Lily combined with what happened to her Dad. The bandits attacking. Duck getting bit. Kat deciding she couldn't live anymore. Lily snapping. Carly's death. Does this make what Lily did right? No. Absolutely not. But it's very ironic that she was one of the few people who didn't want Ben in the group because he essentially made it collapse without even intending to.
@Tobe-fg9ix Okay. But Ben still doesn't tell anyone about the deal. Even if delayed a potential attack, him not telling anyone is what made Lily spiral because she didn't know what was happening. Which heightened the tension between Lily and Carly. Ben not telling anyone about the deal with the bandits made it so they were unprepared when they came. Which still lead to Duck being bitten and Kat doing what he did. Congratulations, Ben prevented one possible disaster, created another and then just watched everything unfold until it was too late
@@alexinator-hh5fe Yeah, that’s where Ben messed up. I understand making that deal because he was naive and scared by the bandits, but he should have immediately told Lilly and everyone else. They could’ve prepared, and maybe Lilly would have been more open to Kenny’s idea of leaving.

The scenes with Lee and Clem on the train are my favorite. There’s a little callback to them way later in the series and it made me cry :’)
Also guys, you should try to get on Kenny’s good side! It’s not always easy but he’s a great character and it’s worth it

Ben is definitely at fault for the group being destroyed basically, but it’s because he had the answer to the groups problems and decided to hide it from them, if Ben didn’t exist, the bandits would have raided the camp way sooner and could have gotten more people killed
If he didn't hide it they would have had reason to leave sooner because Lili was micromanaging the motel and didn't want to leave until absolutely necessary.

I want to mention that having more affinity towards a character where the story pushes you to take sides will offer more options and change how character reacts to you when given the same prompts. Example, Kenny has no issue with your past if you are on his side in prior choices.

Consistently love and respect Oak's reactions and investment in the actual emotional moments. Everyone cracking jokes during the Lee/Kenny fight and this man is just fucking shook about the desperate actions of a man coming to terms with the imminent death of his son.
No shade on you other dudes (love your reactions too!) but gotta shout out Oak for just letting it soak in.
I've seen SO many playthroughs and done this season myself a few times, but it's still so fun to watch you guys
I find it super interesting how you guys all take turns and get to fully immerse yourself into the game. One person can make a choice that completely nullifies another person's previous choice. Bipolar Lee
There's nothing I love more than seeing people as giddy over the Walking Dead as I am.
Also, I am not sure if you guys noticed, but the drugstore that Kenny and Lee went to in the beginning to loot up, was the same drugstore from the first episode, the one that Lee's parents owned. Loving the reactions so far, and loving that you guys are enjoying this. Hopefully Answer will start to like the franchise because of this game, and I like that it could get him into it.
You guys are very genuine with your reactions and we need more of that on this platform. Not too much joking around or trying to make something funny out of emotional moments, and really paying attention to what's going on in the story. And I feel like not enough reactors/gamers give reviews like you guys do, which is something we want when we watch stuff like this, aside from seeing if your reactions.
And shoutout to Dave Fennoy (Lee), Gavin Hammon (Kenny), Nicki Rapp (Lilly), and Cissy Jones (Katjaa). They really knocked it out of the park with their voice acting in this episode.

Great episode. Can’t wait for ep. 4. Also for the record Clementines radio was a gift from her parents and they tuned it to the bandwidth of Glenn’s radio in ep. 1. Which is also where the radio got busted. Somehow it got fixed and Clem didn’t tell anyone. That’s why they were surprised at the end of this episode

Everybody downgrade Ben, but he really did it to help the group they would've been raided a long time ago since the saint John's are dead, maybe Ben did it because he thought the bandits got his friends but in spite of all the reasons it worked, so Lily is a monster for doing that to Carley.

u don’t have to rush with doing quests directly as they go, talks are really big and i would say most important part of the game to understand characters better, so there is no need to rush over. oak gave a good example there: talk with everyone as much as u can, before doing quest, in middle of doing and after finishing it. u don’t have to be afraid to hit ALL the dialogue options what are NOT TIMED, it’s more like investigating, but not influencing directly ur relationship with characters, as much as TIMED talks and options do

I cant recommend bad medicine enough for people who like real guys with real reactions. I know it sounds dumb but ALOT of reaction channels on youtube dont feel authentic at all, and this channel with four grown up dudes tinking with new movies and getting into the swings of gaming is awesome. Thanks Diamond Dave, Oak, Quinn, and of course The Answer. Im just glad a bunch of dudes who look like they might scold yah for not watching stuff like football😂, be playing games like Red Dead, and Walking Dead is uplifting. Thanks guys!
