I would recommend the bombers from Fostex Garments. They make padded and non padded with regular and vintage washes. The preferred blank for Raf Simons while he still produced his brand

Don't know if it will be any help to you, but I can heartily recommend Alpha's MA-1 bomber. I've got one in an unusual but delicious imo greeny/teal colour. It's pretty padded, and I absolutely love the fit of it; I guess you could say it's boxy(?) - it fits me lengthwise in a similar way to my Lee Rider 101J (thanks for that video btw!). It's very warm, and I'm in love with the fabrics used. They usually come in a decent array of colours too. Oh, and I think you can almost always find them in a sale somewhere (I did!) 🙂

Since you are interested in vintage clothing, you should look for a vintage bomber jacket, there are some really nice ones out there. My dad has some good vintage jackets, but they are too big for me, which is a shame! 😅

Universal Surplus does some great bomber jackets that look great on the shorter models. They are in France :) Check them out if you get a chance, also only get the nylon bombers. All other types wrinkle way too much and look off.
