Tata build quality today is no match for others cars specially cheaply made Suzuki cars. In my family 2 tata cars bought in last 1 year, Nexon & Tiago, build quality top notch and maintainence wise very affordable 👍👍👍

I definitely don't have any problems with this car or whatsoever but the pricing doesn't seem right as there are other better cars in instance i10, Tiago etc which is so much better than what the new Alto has to offer.

Fog lamps missing was unexpected.Even fog lamps housing also missing! I think at least provision should have been added in vxi varient of Alto K10.

If it goes till 7 or 7.5 lacs on road then there are other better options like grand I 10, nios, baleno, swift and the list goes on. It does not make sense to pay 7 lacks for an entry level hatch.

New ALTO look good for its clean design... Maruti should give importance to SAFETY by using thick steel frame and steel sheets plus good quality Tyres, good Ground Clearance and hill assists kind of features which are essential for driving. We do not require 6 Airbags, or Stereo or Crome but we should sustain ALIVE if small accidents happen especially in the rainy season.

I bought alto k10 vxi plus 2022 at 6 lakhs on road at 6% rto tax...and many cities have rto tax of 4% on cars priced below 6 lakhs. (eg. Delhi)..That means you can get alto k10 vxi model for 5 lakh 60 thousand on road including 5 year or 1 lakh km warranty with mcp for 5 years..I don't think there is any other car providing 1 litre engine with decent safety (may be 3 stars if performs like new spresso in GNCAP)..And good mileage, nice music system and front power windows...I think at this price we can't get anything better than this at present..

You can only get base model of other cars in the cost of top model of this car..So think wisely..There is no ground for comparison except with spresso top model which you can get after paying around 18000 more. And on first hand if you want to buy a premium car, then why even are you watching a entry segment car ?

Yeah. New alto price starts from 4lakh and they don't even give ac and power steering. They priced it 4lakh just so they can attract customers by showing low price.
Cost of every commodity (steel, copper, aluminum) have gone up. Price of energy, semiconductors, taxes, insurance is shooting through roof. Even mass market two wheelers like Activa are priced close to 1 lakh on road. It is far fetched to expect a car to be priced at sub 4 lakh prices.
