Agreed! I lost my mom when I was 23 years old. We used to antique and flea market together just like you and your mom. We had so much fun together. I miss her so very much. 28 Christmas's without her! 🥺🥺🥺 Please cherish every day you have your beautiful mom! Maybe one day we will run into you girls shopping. We're in Houston and love to try new areas in Texas for antiques!

My grandmother gave me several of those “m&m” vintage jars. She use to keep all types of candy in them. I use some for cotton balls on my bathroom vanity. So nice to have a little antique on such new vanity.

When you and your Mom (love her, she's my age bracket) go thrift and flea market shopping you stay so true to what you love, it inspires me. I hang old oil painted landscapes in my bathroom because they are most durable to the moisture and splashes and I love them.
I love how much fun you were having with your mom (just love her) and your friend from California. And I’m glad you splurged on your pillow. The pillow is gorgeous!! I splurged on a vintage dough bowl with copper accents and it was 100$ 😦 buttt, it’s going on my fireplace mantle and its from the 1940s! I couldn’t pass it up!!

McCenna you need that gold bowl around 15:00. It's so you and would look so good as a fruit bowl in the kitchen. Or a decorative bowl in the dining room. So unique.
The white "snack" plates are artichoke plates, small circle is for artichoke, deep section is for seasoned butter, other sides are for artichoke leaves.

there is nothing like eyeing something and not seeing it the next time ... and you just want it even more ... happy thanksgiving everyone
The “snack” plates are really artichoke plates. You put the cooked artichoke in the middle, add melted butter or a Mayo type dip in the side well, and then discard the eaten leaves around the rest of the plate. You may add the heart of the artichoke in the center when finished with the rest of the artichoke for use with the rest of the butter or dipping sauce.

MaCenna the 3 bells on the leather strap is the same as we used to use when I worked in a nursery to let the little ones know that Father Christmas was on his way and had just landed on the roof. Their little faces lit up and each one got a present and we took a photo of each of them to go on a Christmas card for their parents. I've been retired for 25 years now and the beautiful memories when I saw the bells was amazing. I'm so pleased you bought them. X
My Nana used to tie bells with beautiful ribbon on the doors in her house. She said it was her security system 🤣.... now when I hear a jingle, it reminds me of her 💓

I know just how you feel about that pillow. I saw a quilt in a window while I was on holiday. I really loved it it, but it was so expensive. The one day I went to look again and it was gone and I was so sad. When we got home my mother gave me a parcel. I opened it and it was that quilt I so loved. My mother said she could see how much I loved it and so she had to buy it for me. I still treasure it now, even more so because my mother bought it for me.

If you’re still looking for a vanity an idea for you could be do buy a beautiful desk with drawers to put against the walls then place a vintage gold mirror above it on the wall. That’s what I did and I love it! :))

Hi MaCenna! Love everything you got! The m&m jar you got is half planters peanut jar and half m&m jar. They mixed and matched the top and bottom. I have 6 of the vintage planters jars with different designs, maybe that can be your next collection you hunt for lol.
