This is THE single best Vildhjarta cover on TH-cam, from the tone, to NAILING the microtonal bends and using the lower strings for high notes - I can't believe how accurate and perfect this is, good job man
There are no microtonal bends. Just regular half-step to whole-step bends. If they were truly microtonal, it would sound really out of tune with the rest of the music
@@ALEXANDERSTOEV Why would I care about the response? Did they pass some new international law where I now have to care what other people think? lol A "machine-like" guitarist is just plain boring. Think "machine" as in devoid of life. That might make it easier to wrap your head around what I'm saying. It certainly applies to this "style". The most unconventional guitar writing I have ever seen yet has so much GD attitude! I still grove side to side with a stank face at the 2:08 mark to this day. It is so brutal in its simplicity and chaos. Great cover!
Haha! Thanks man =D I think it's the .60 string set + coin pick + raised coils and a 5150 with Green Scream. Don't forget there's the backing track guitars underneath as well!

That is correct. I'm just playing the same pattern over the 5th string instead of the 6th, though this is the "incorrect" way compared to the original. I tabbed this and all the HLB covers with FL Studio but I'm afraid I don't have the files anymore.
amazing cover u made it look so easy, btw are you palm muting the low string, are you palm muting it? for me i cant get it to stop ringing out (for example from 0:14 to 0:25)
Many thanks! I guess I am sort of using my thumb/palm to mute the 7th string here. On occasion you could try using your index finger to stop the ringing, depending on fingering (lots of this e.g. in Ylva).
I really loved seeing your technique and control!! I enjoy seeing guitarists that dont have a lot of wasted motion in their fret and pick hands.. I dont have as controlled a picking technique as you do(alternate picking) great job on the song too!! What gauge strings are you using?
@@binzianer The wobble wasn't that bad if I recall correctly. More or less the same at drop E with .58 on the Chapman, and it's even got a shorter scale.
Unfortunately I am not allowed to share the profile as I've just modified it, though if you search for Deadlight Studios 5150 -preset in Rig Exchange, add a little Green Scream and EQ, you should get similar results!

Made it look like child’s play. Absolutely nailed the tone, this wasn’t a cover. It was a performance.

Bruh, open the backing track and compare. You can barely hear his guitar. So no idea how it's the best cover on youtube. You are delusional lol.

This is good. I enjoy seeing you using the 24th fret on the low 7th string.
😅😅😅
Yes
Vildhjarta will make you tickle those long forgotten frets
this is like the coolest style of playing a guitar. Seeing this I really can appreciate how crazy this band is
Your subtle hybrid picking is perfect
It's so subtle you might actually call it accidental!
🤙
It’s so good it makes me laugh, idk if that makes sense but props to you, amazing work
Drop F sounds pretty damn good on that 27 inch neck ;)
six years later and this is still the nastiest tone
Your right hand technique looks so relaxed it's amazing
Seeing your strumming is so damn satisfying! Such precision and technicality! Almost machine-like.
Being "machine-like" is only a good thing if you're a drummer. If a guitarist sounds like a machine, they're doing something wrong.
@@MFKR696 Doesn't apply to this style I think, look at the response on this video

This is mesmerising. Holy smokes dude this is perfection. THALL
This is by far one of the hardest things I've ever tried to play for many reasons, you sir made it look like it was a beginner song. Well done.
