Last time we were in Bangkok it rained so heavy the polka dots on my poncho imprinted themselves onto my skin lol I was really freaked out at first, didn't understand where these Red spots came from, thought I was diseased haha. I was completely and utterly burnt out emotionally, and It's crazy how much time and space from stressful situations can heal you. So excited to show Japan aswell after Bangkok. Absolutely crazy to think we are back here, didn't know if we ever would be, so grateful doesn't even begin to cover the feelings we have right now.

Yeah we had quite a few videos in a row there where you could see me mentally unravelling over time haha. Year before that no tears at all, but it all piled up so heavy by the end. Now I feel so light it's incredible. I will be strong enough to take back on any troubles that come our way now, but I really needed the break from vanlife for sure 💪

Ahh loved watching this! I was there about..9 years ago, such a cool place, like nowhere else! When I was there some guys I was working with recommended Koenji for vintage clothing and thrift stores, its quite a way out of the city, and was a lot slower paced but literally full of vintage stores! There is also a hotel at the Shibuya crossing, I cannot remember the name but a friend gave me the tip that if you go into the lobby and take the lift to the top floor (I think it was the 70th?!) you get an amazing view of the crossing! You aren't really meant to just go in, but nobody seemed to mind when we did :D so could be worth a try. Look forward to seeing more of your travels!

I hadn't heard of it. We loved our time in Indonesia (many years ago) such a beautiful country, so much more to see there. If we ever make it back we will have to add Gorontalo to our itnerary ❤️

As if I got a foot rub 🤣🤣 even a shoulder rub would last all of ten seconds, and he would be like 'ok done' 🤣 we went for an hour long thai massage though and it was glorious! Hope u guys have fun. My wife is from Vientian, Laos and she was constantly back and forth between Laos and Thailand all the time. I've been twice to Laos and the closest I've gotten to Thailand is looking across the Mekong river. Lol 😆 We are talking about going December 2023.
We LOVED Laos, spent a couple weeks there last time we were in Asia, such an untouched feeling country. Heartbreaking history with all the bombs dropped on them, such a beautiful beautiful country. We rented a motorbike and did a big waterfall loop for a few days if was cool.

Me and family the first time I went, we explored the northern part and the last time I went in 2019 we drove from Vientian all the way down to the Cambodian border. When ye were on the boat trip home,I thought similar to all you said, this is unreal where ye are now,plus that night view alone, was worth the trip to old town. Yeah wet socks are the worst especially when you only have three pairs and the other two are still wet haha. Yeah thankfully we are vegan so no risk of eating cat accidentally ahaha. Philly never got his donut lol everywhere is shut. No tent life for us in Thailand, who knows what might happen in Japan, but Thailand is our rest and recovery time, no tents involved haha.
Yeah we have been loving it! Next time we come back to Thailand we will stay long enough to get a drone licence. You have to get registered properly over there or can go to jail and it takes a couple weeks, so would have left before our licence to fly came through haha. But next time we will have to get some sexy drone shots for ya 🥰

Plenty to see there you might stumble open some ladyboys whilst walking around. The weather looks hot and wet but some interesting sites you've seen so far . The food looks different, I like Satay sauce it's really nice with peanuts you should try vegan Satay.
5555, a tourist is vomiting . Let's instead belittle the smell of the local market, of the two that is what we find odd. #firstworlder Bangkok is reportedly the most visited city in the world.
Consistently said how awesome this place is and never belittled it. I am very sensitive to the smell of seafood, weather it's in a fancy supermarket in a 'first world' country or a local market here is irrelevant to my senses.
Great complex question. It's all a personal journey I suppose, I think for us it was realising lots of stuff we thought we knew about food nutrition and agricultural practices was incorrect, once we peaked behind that curtain it all unravelled. We did two weeks vegan to see how we felt while researching the nutrition and environmental aspects of animal agricultural industry, and then after two weeks we felt so good we extended it to a month, then by the end of that month we had learnt so much more about the impact on animals as well as ourselves and we felt so good in our bodies that we never ate a single animal product again. A two week trial to see how we felt whilst researching turned into a five year later life long choice.

Thanks so much Cassandra. I think on the day of the temple it was 78%humidity, temp of 31 with 'real feel' of 38. As if I got a foot rub 🤣🤣 even a shoulder rub would last all of ten seconds, and he would be like 'ok done' 🤣 we went for an hour long thai massage though and it was glorious! Hope u guys have fun. My wife is from Vientian, Laos and she was constantly back and forth between Laos and Thailand all the time. I've been twice to Laos and the closest I've gotten to Thailand is looking across the Mekong river. Lol 😆 We are talking about going December 2023.
We LOVED Laos, spent a couple weeks there last time we were in Asia, such an untouched feeling country. Heartbreaking history with all the bombs dropped on them, such a beautiful beautiful country. We rented a motorbike and did a big waterfall loop for a few days if was cool.

I would agree about going to the place near ye to eat,best with what ye know and close by. That temple was so beautiful,perfect timing. When ye were on the boat trip home,I thought similar to all you said, this is unreal where ye are now,plus that night view alone, was worth the trip to old town. Yeah wet socks are the worst especially when you only have three pairs and the other two are still wet haha. Yeah thankfully we are vegan so no risk of eating cat accidentally ahaha. Philly never got his donut lol everywhere is shut. No tent life for us in Thailand, who knows what might happen in Japan, but Thailand is our rest and recovery time, no tents involved haha.

Yeah we have been loving it! Next time we come back to Thailand we will stay long enough to get a drone licence. You have to get registered properly over there or can go to jail and it takes a couple weeks, so would have left before our licence to fly came through haha. But next time we will have to get some sexy drone shots for ya 🥰

Consistently said how awesome this place is and never belittled it. I am very sensitive to the smell of seafood, weather it's in a fancy supermarket in a 'first world' country or a local market here is irrelevant to my senses.

Great complex question. It's all a personal journey I suppose, I think for us it was realising lots of stuff we thought we knew about food nutrition and agricultural practices was incorrect, once we peaked behind that curtain it all unravelled. We did two weeks vegan to see how we felt while researching the nutrition and environmental aspects of animal agricultural industry, and then after two weeks we felt so good we extended it to a month, then by the end of that month we had learnt so much more about the impact on animals as well as ourselves and we felt so good in our bodies that we never ate a single animal product again. A two week trial to see how we felt whilst researching turned into a five year later life long choice.
