I was inspired by a former colleague to become a rad tech and still having trouble figuring out how to get started . Currently working at Amazon to go to career choice to get to where I want to be
Maybe I missed it, is there an actual answer yes or no to starting over financially when you switch the modality? Do you have to take a lower pay or does it stack? At the 4 minute mark it seems like we trail away from the actual yes/no answer.
Hello it's quite difficult for me to find a school that works with my schedule. Being active duty military, I work in the daytime. There are no schools that offer night classes to become a rad Tech in my area
Yes, it will be difficult to find a school. I didn't work the entire time I was in RAD Tech school. Most students only worked on the weekends or a few hours after school.
@@lavapop1900 Not sure how long you have in the military. You will not find a night time RAD School. The program is very intense, because you will have Clinicals 3 days a week. Mines was Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays and some times a couple of weekends in a month. And classes will be the other days. If you are planning to ETS at some point. Then you can aquire about Rad school and start the application process. It's about 2.5 years to complete.
Thank you so much for this! We need to know about money so we aren’t short changing ourselves. Silence his how they keep us down.
Exactly! More to come. Share this with others please

The first step is to apply to a college and they will explain your next step.

Thank you!!
I appreciate your support!
Great video
thank you!
You have a great voice and you are a great speaker. I can see you doing voice over work, commercials and inspirational speaking.
What makes more, Xray Tech or MRI? XRAY is currently my main interest.
Radiology tech is the best way to enter the field for long-term career options in my opinion. You will be able to enter all modalities that way!
MRI makes more.
@@obtryce7070thanks for the info, appreciate it so much.
