ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

This may be the greatest head swap ever. Like ever. The two pack Spidey reminds me heavily of web of shadows and the Ben Reilly looks more comic booky now

That Spinneret actually isn't too bad. This is one instance where one of the figures in the set isn't fodder.

Renew your Vows didn't feel like a cash grab at all. It was refreshing to see Peter happy. Also the comic didn't do too well so it didn't turn out to be a "cash grab".
The comic didn’t do well because people DON’T want Peter to be happy! The people that want Peter to be happy and married and have a kid are a small but vocal minority. Most fans want to see Peter struggling through life but managing to shake it off and try again the next day

@Neeha Shaikh MJ was a badass long before getting any kind of super power. She beat the fuck out of a few super villains with sheer determination.
@@battleframestudios8989 Yeah, I know, but the suit sucks Spidey's strength whenever they fight together and MJ is using physical force, WEAKENING him (it was made using Regent's power-absorbing technology), due to which Spidey isn't as strong as he usually is. 😐

I love that the stop motion Spider-Man fist bump even had them do the “explode away” gesture.
I'm legitimately impressed by these figures. The Spidey is peak, and while I expected the MJ to be a throwaway, I had a ton of fun with it once I got it out of the box.
Can’t wait to get this! I ordered mint from GameStop about a month ago. It took a while for GameStop to ship my rhino figure, but I’m excited for this.

This is my vanilla Marvel Legends Spider-Man for now. Like I’ve never owned a comic accurate Spider-Man, yeah the symbol is a bit big but honestly I love the figure and he looks great on the shelf and posing him around and fighting with the other Spidey villains is awesome
And he came with Wallcrawling hands and an unmasked head! Worth the price imo

This is the best Marvel Legends Spidey ever since Pizza Spidey (Retro Spidey is overrated). Its got everything you need- the complete 3 sets of hands, a Peter Parker headsculpt, pinless elbows & knees, AND now toe joints. As for the MJ figure, I'm glad they gave her double-jointed elbows, but she still needs an ab crunch though! A singular diaphragm cut isn't enough articulation for the torso.
Pizza Spidey is a fun figure.

I missed out on the retro Spider-man and was very close to paying second market price and I'm so glad I didn't and missed it at all. Going forward with pinless. This is the ultimate ML Spider-man and I can't wait to get mine.
The 1st appearance Spider-Man has the best looking shoulders of all three of them.

Just got mine from Target. Thankfully paint aps are good on both, Spidey has a bit of a white spot next to the torso crunch, but nothing a dab of red won't solve. So far, loving them!
Can't wait to get the two pack figures. Spider Man is by far my favorite Marvel super hero in the world. I was 5 years old when I first like Spider Man and now I'm 18 years old and I still love him. Spidey is my favorite 😎🔥

I'll like to see 2 to a pack Black Panther and Storm set too, complete with an alternative headsculpt of both King T'Chella and 1 straight faced with blue eyes Storm and 1 angry face Storm with either white eyes or blue lighting or yellow lighting eyes enraged with her teeth grinning or her mouth opened as if she calling on the Mistress Of The Elements.
Probably my favorite Spiderman tied with the Retro symbiote suit.
Oh my God I nearly lost it at the end in the stop motion when the big time badass Spider-Man made a cameo.
Just recently got this 2 pack and I freaking LOVE it!!! I have not been able to stop posing this Spiderman, in my eyes it is THE definitive marvel legends Spiderman figure, Mary Jane is really cool too. I was expecting her to be a C- figure but to my surprise she's actually an A- figure. I definitely feel like I got my 52$ worth with everything that was included. I'm a very happy marvel legends collector right now. Awesome review shartimus, keep up the good work.

Wolverine: 3-pack with Cyclops and Jean (I don't like Apocalypse wave, soo darker)
Captain America (80 years) (The 20 years is a excellent figure, but his head is ugly and I don't like his shield with holes)
Iron Man: 80 years (I have this figure)
I love them! Got mine at Target in DFW TX area via a tip on Twitter. Target is getting them in stores, but the website still shows them on pre-order. Check your local Targets!
There is no doubt the new retooled Spider-Man buck will be used for repaints of all other versions (symbiote, Ben Reilly, etc.).
I'd love to get another classic Quicksilver on this updated Spider-Man body.

Awesome review. I just found these at my local Target this morning. They must have just put them out because there were six of them on the shelf. I bought more than one. Definitely the best Spider-Man figure out there, IMO. I actually like the big spider symbol and the darker blue personally. This new figure is going to replace the red & blue Retro / Vintage figure as my default Spider-Man, so I wanted to have multiples.
This video more than any made me want to see the TRUE Big Time Bad Ass Spidey beat that imposters ass. Poor BTBA. Dr. Strange where are you!?!? Lol

This is definitely a solid DIIIIYYYYYAAHHAAHHAAA ITS SSSSOOOO AAAAWWEEEEESSSSOOOMMMEEE!!!!! I LOVE IT!!! OH 2 PLEASE!!!!! For Me. The comic was the best thing to happen for Spidey and Marvel in a long time! Though I do wish they would have given Spinerette a waist crunch to go with are diaphragm dumbell joint.

If it's one thing Spider-Man fans want to spend money on, it's Peter and Mary Jane married and being an awesome superhero family with their daughter.
And because Marvel hates money, they refuse to do it.
the KO version can do a full vandamme which sucks for the offical one.
With the toe hinge, at this point it's all about personal preference for colors, size of the spider logo, distance between the webs, etc. I like the colors and logo more than Retro. But after this I don't think there is much they can change for me to buy another standard spidey. Aka it's time for a new Scarlet Spider.

They look good. Dan Who (UK reviewer) opened his to find Spinneret was missing web pattern on right side of neck.
The female figs are getting better but the y all need better ball joint in the diaphragm and a lower ab crunch like Spidey. Butterfly joints in shoulders too.

@@thatboiht If I’m being honest I’m not sure if that release dates are as accurate anymore, considering that the Spider-Man figures are coming out now instead of November. At least that was what was posted originally for the renew your vows 2 pack. I believe that the pandemic has thrown off a lot and the release dates that we’re seeing on some of these sets and waves are mostly placeholders. So I’m optimistic that the Black Panther wave is going to come out sooner than February.

That's why a lot of these are place holders and I feel like we'll get figures out in the wild sooner that these online dates, or maybe the fan channels get them sooner. Almost the perfect Spider-man. Wish the neck/head had better articulation to look up higher. If it had that, would be able to get him into even better crawling/crouching poses.
Something about the sculpt that really bothered me that you didn't bring up is that when you do the ab crunch on the back the red and black lines are painted on the back and displace from the belt and the back which is SUPER distracting if you were to do any back shots with it crunched.

Honestly, for me, the new first appearance spidey mold is the better of the 2. Besides the height, I think that mold captures spiderman's overall stature better, and has the right amount of BEEFINESS. Small things with this 2 pack body like the toe joints are a nice addition, but the body of this mold doesn't really capture that upper body V shape. Also, I think the blue is too dark, although I respect the source material. I just think this is an easy second to that mold from what I've seen (besides the toe joints!).
I think the head sculpt of spidey's mask is the same of the spectacular spider-man figure of marvel select 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

Spider-Man’s butterfly joint on your copy does seem to actually be missing a paint app.
Hopefully they reuse that spidey figure on some different Spider-Men in the future because I’m a huge fan of the toe hinge on my spider figures
