Watching this game in 2022, if u are here this 2022 pls let's joing ✋ hands an celebrate all our falling hero by remembering them, all Nigerian 🇳🇬legends, when football s good in Nigeria, team that every country is scared of, rip all our falling hero legends, rip Nigeria football, rip Nigerian star's, rip Nigerian super eagles, because this team Nigeria ve never produce a team like this guys we really miss them, Chai
Feeling nostalgic today. It was great watching how Keshi 9RIP) was able to command and ensure all his team members were well placed on the pitch. Kudos to the Gabonese team for their resilience ...they played their hearts out but luck and poor goalkeeping was not on their side. Rest in peace to Yekini, Keshi, Oliha, Agbonabare (though Peter Rufai was the keeper) and Okafor. We remember you all. Watching this in 2019? Gather here
1:42:28 I remember the Gabonese captain Amegasse had boasted that Yekini was going to be caged in interviews prior to the opening game. The irony was, after every goal he went to pick the ball out of the net. Yekini had a vengeance unrivaled on the pitch in African football. Yeking!
It was outstanding team we have back then & i still believe we can build more better teams like that of 1994_1996 if our nff stop playing politics with football. RIP all our fallen heros Live on our living legends. And God bless Nigeria. My pledge.....Mr. Rich2022
What a boring game. If you listen to journalists and some old people, you would think that this set of 94 players never made mistakes. Alas! They are not perfect.
@@ariyooluwaseun3001 they know the game better than the set of super eagles that we have today, their pass is very accurate, this s when guys is playing with their mind, not those money lovers that we have Today,
Nigeria playing weakly. Playing slow. Moving lackadaisically. Resting on their oars. Gabonese players are not really better, but Nigeria is not tactical enough with calculated aggression. They have missed chances to score more goals with their who will bell the cat attitude at defense, looking on one another, while Gabon plays and defends as a team, like a wounded lion, being lone goal deficit.
Late Rashidi Yakini has been a super eagle legend.May Allah have mercy on him

They were not perfect I meant to say.
They know the game better and that's the era of professional soccer in abroad.

May people wondered how did they lost 4-0 to Pharoah next game
Who lost 4 0? Gabon you mean?
Definitely not Nigeria. Nigeria vs Egypt ended 0-0. Yekini hit the cross bar with a wicked shot courtesy of Okocha's pass.
Exactly
