light knife or not, this is a knifeless technique! you are on the right path but need to practise more, watch tutorials, take courses. thanks for sharing your progress.

For all the “experts” maybe looks easier to make it in a plotter and put it in the place. But for a beginner that has not experience putting things in the right place this is a very use full video. Exactly what I need, thanks!

leonsolyluna2 man I was just saying the same,I have a vinyl cutter for my tee shirts and I’m watching this like why not get the design and cut it out,use transfer tape to put the design on the car

sooo why not put protective tape on the paint before you put a knife to the paint? cause that was a little sketchy

Too much messing around for just a small stripe, I always cut them on my plotter and apply, much quicker and always looks good, but I think this is a good system for curved designs and one offs, thanks for the video.

I have been laying graphics down for over 30 years and that is one application you do not need that tape. All that is is a waste of vinyl..Get some roll stock and do it the right way...Or cut some vinyl on a plotter..what a waste of time and material.I would have had the whole car done in the time you spent screwing around with the vinyl on one side...Then to top things off your really not pulling the knife less tape the right way.back in the day all graphics done by Trimmers were done by hand..I used gem stainless razors and had to learn how much force to add while cutting by had...Just enough force to cut the vinyl and at most it would scratch the clear coat. Which could be buffed out and unnoticeable if you wanted to remove the graphics.Knifeless tape is being pushed everywhere and is not needed for all applications.

I know it’s not the easiest or the best way to do it, and I do have the pre cut stripes. But in this case the client asked me to get it done that day and I didn’t have what I needed with me.
