- This is mod pack aims to make the game more similar to the cinematic trailer. So far,
1. New outfit model which includes a new hood, shoulder pads, slim bracers, belts ,newly added back pouches and updated the materials and all the textures to 4K.
2. Sword Positions changed.
3. Complete overhaul of the spanish faction in the game with new models.
4. Cinematic Trailer Weapons for edward including a cutlass a saber and 2 new pistol types.
5. Optional single sword combat animations.

I had no idea it was just the shape of the hood that made edward look goofy in game. I thought his face model was the reason, because for some reason his face model looks the least detailed among all the characters in AC4. Anyways I'm glad you took the effort to remaster his outfit and give him that badass look he had in the CG trailer. I would be more than happy if you made the hood open just like edward does when he exits restricted areas or cities. I don't know much about modding games, but it would be awesome if you made this hood toggle on button input. Maybe because it's just feels too warm in the Caribbean because edward has his hood so close up to his face on a sunny day.

What tf is different from the ac3 cinematic robes from the actual ac3?
@@everrunic8375 it's more subtle but overall the robes aren't as tight since Connor wasn't buffed in the cinematics, the shoulders of the robes were also larger and more proiminent and the most obvious the Hood was more open, like Brotherhood

His robes are dirty in the game. In the cinematics, his outfit is much cleaner looking.

This is siking me out so hard bro. I've loved this game ever since it came out, but my ONE major issue has always been Edward's design in the game, mainly his hood. It looks like he has an ugly potato sack on his head instead of the badass sleek white and blue design we were promised in the trailers. I'm hoping the remake follows your example on this. W mod. One small suggestion I have is to see if you dirty up that white cloth under his biceps to match the CGI model even more.

would be incredible if you can make the arno trailer accurrate outfit because the one in the game is a lot different from the trailer just saying if you or other modder could do it

Apart from the redesigned hood (witch is reallly badass) FINALLY someone made the single swords optional to the dual swords.
I have been playing this game for 9 years now, and it always felt ridiculous that you needed to PICK UP a sword, instead of choosing only one from quickwheel.
I mean… Edward carries 2 blades… can’t he only pick one.
As far as combat goes, in my personal opinion I felt this game was the weakest in the Kenway saga.
Yet the setting was so awesome, and historically the most combat oriented.
Even if we ignore the choppy animation that breaks the aesthetic flow, there is little to no varioation in gameplay and movement.
AC3 had a minimal enemy variety, still it gave the player an external motivation to be diverse in combat.
Call me out on this one, but I feel the Kenway Saga desperately needed a combo counter: it would have given the player a motivation to be as stylish and diverse as they could get, bringing all the potential out from this system.
Now that the remake is coming I truly hope the developers reimagine this combat system, so that it can finally live up to it’s cinematic flow and stylish one-man-army feeling, as it was intended to be.
Do you think you could rework the look of the british faction too? They look a little weird in the base game and the spanish were the same models just wearing yellow. You did a great job with the Spanish btw, they look like in all the other movies and the cinematic trailer for the game.

Because the devs thought they were being historically inaccurate. Since the French wear white coats. But didn't research during the early 18th century. The Spanish Empire also wear white.

I don’t understand what the difference is in Edward’s outfit between the mod and the original
The mods are based on the games cinematic trailers. The original game are marketed differently. The Spanish wear yellow instead of white. Their uniforms don't look like 18 century. And
Edward's robes looks dirty.

Different color and different material. In the cimematic trailers, the material is higher quality and the color is sleek white. In the game, his hood looks like a potato sack and it looks almost brown in comparison. The blue markings at the bottom are also missing in the game.
