The Isley Brother's also have some great ones! Voyage to Atlantis is a good one to start with! Footsteps in the Dark is another hit from the album Go For Your Guns. They had many more spanning a decade or so.

Grove Ash Poplar are the names of the streets that came together. They called it The GAP
No it was Greenwood ,Archer, and Pine. That was where Black Wall Street was before they came and bombed that area because of the prosperity of wealthy blacks were self sufficient.
Great choice! Nobody checks out these gems. The Gap Band had quite a few JAMS back in the day. "Outstanding", "Humpin' Stick", "Early in the Morning", "Party Train" and a few more. Check them all out, The Gap Band was thee SH!T
