I followed the tutorial this weekend and got 6 new rod holders installed on my 25 open! I used a dremmel to route the hole a little bigger and then use 4200 fast-cure to seal the newly exposed core material & in the bolt holes! This was really helpful!

Great video. I'm just about to add a couple of rod holders to the bow of my boat too. Don't know why I just didn't have them put in when I ordered the boat. I have a 2 PC. Hul so it's going to be a bit more work to get them in. But a little research gave me a great idea to make it easier.

What latches do you have on your in deck fish boxes? Also do you know what gasket you used? Thank you!

I believe they are Gemlux 2" non locking, and the Hatch seals, gaskets are Taco Marine seal tape. Hope this helps.

Gemlux $$$ wouldn’t have matched the other 14 Lee’s rod holders
