I never understood the song at first when I was in year 8 and a large group of students would sing this after school by the bus stop (which I had to walk past to get a lift from my father) this bus stop was by a pharmacy and one day whilst walking past and this group of about 40 students was singing this and then the headmaster walked out. His displeasure was immeasurable, and I quote he said “while all of you are adorned in this uniform, you will not spread such vile humour around this community!” Once in the car we drove past and they were singing yet again ( although now the headmaster was facing the opposite direction he seemed to be enjoying it) I found out recently the meaning of the song by some friends, indeed I was shocked, but came around to the funny side.
