I recently purchased a beautiful watch with this movement to restore as a gift for my girlfriend. This was only my second time servicing a watch, and your video was incredibly helpful. Thank you so much
i also had my mother's old seiko from 1990s repaired. it's now fixed but kept as a memorabilia of the time when I was a kid. these seikos are super durable.
Thank you for this video! It has really helped me learn about this watch. Clear and concise. I would like to know about oiling and cleaning as well but really appreciate this video!!
Looks terrific! I just picked up a watch with the same movement, it's not running. I think your video will help me immensely in my restoration efforts.
Hi, those wheel are made with scrubbing pads which are commonly used in cleaning kitchen utensil. Search for scotch bright and you’ll know what those actually are. You can cut small wheels out of those pads.
Where can i find a crystal face for this model? Whats the size? And what is the band size? I have one that needs restoration. Would you be able to do it?
What an incredible result! A highly skilled, clever restoration - truly outstanding work!
Thank you very much

The difference between this and my 4206b is really remarkable particularly the rotor and the self winding mechanism!😮
Just about to try and get this exact watch back to working condition.
Can you recommend a wire scratch brush? The sanding wheel scratches the string at 11 minutes.

I have a same model watch in my collection & still watch is running too good. My mom have used it before. That watch how much valuable today?
These are not very expensive watches and due to less demand these don’t hold much value but these work fine for years.
