Oneus are so criminally underrated, hopefully you check out more from them, the deep voiced rapper has the singing voice of an angel, they can all dance and sing and Seoho the singer with the 4 note climb was mucking about, it was originally supposed to be 3 notes but he hit 4 accidentally and with ease. Their discography is so diverse and they are known for being Kings when its comes to stage performances
Honestly ONEUS are very impressive especially in the beginning because it looked like they weren't rookies. They are a very DRAMATIC group. Definitely recommend "Luna" and "Twilight".
I'm so glad you liked ONEUS! It is honestly so sad how underrated they are, so thank you for taking the time to check them out. If you're interested in checking out more, I would suggest pretty much any of their songs, but some personal favorites are Black Mirror, To Be or Not To Be, Twilight, LIT, LUNA and Same Scent. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of their songs though. A couple notes would be that they're under RBW Entertainment which is the same company as a group you reacted to previously, called ONEWE. A member of ONEUS (Xion) is even the twin brother of a member of ONEWE (Dongmyeong). They have a couple songs as WeUs, Stay and Last Song, which you may find interesting as well.
The first song I heard of theirs was "Valkyrie" (awesome), ONEWE's "(Regulus) MV" and "Reminisce about All" are well worth a watch too. Soooo much material to go at - we're trapped down this K-pop rabbit hole for life (no place I'd rather be) 🥰💜

They're under Mamamoo's label RBW, which always means several things: top tier vocalists, the members are creatively involved in songwriting and choreo, their discography is very diverse, and they're not as popular or commercially successful as their talent suggests they should be because RBW sucks at promoting their artists. If you want to hear some of the best talent S Korea has to offer then pick a song or album by an RBW artist and you'll probably find something to like about it. Girl groups: Mamamoo & Purple Kiss. Boy groups: Vromance & Oneus. Rock band: Onewe. Oneus and Onewe are close friends and share twin brothers - Xion in Oneus and Dongmyeong in Onewe - and the groups have collaborated on several songs. Come Back Home was composed by two of the main songwriter/producers at RBW, Park Woosang and co-CEO Kim Dohoon (a legendary kpop songwriter) and the lyrics were written by Park Woosang and Oneus rappers Leedo and RAVN. Since that time Park Woosang has left RBW and RAVN has left Oneus. Leedo is the rapper with the deep voice and the singer who climbed the high note ladder is Seoho. Seoho is also the member who often does their dance stunts. Oneus are known for their dramatic performances and creative choreo. They recently finished up their 3rd US tour. I'm sure they'll be back in a year or so and they're well worth seeing live if you get the chance. Oneus has been around for 4 years and have lots of great songs. You might want to listen to the follow up song to Come Back Home called To Be or Not To Be. I really like their songs Lit and Luna because they incorporate traditional Korean music and dance. I've seen them live twice and they never fail to amaze me! My favorite group is ateez but my favorite concert I've been to was oneus bc they're just that good! They're so underrated but finally started getting a little nore attention after they participated in the road to kingdom in which groups competed against each other (that's actually where they made come back home). They're brother group is onewe which you reacted to recently (there's literally a twin in each group)! They help in making songs for each other and even have music together!
A lot of people don't understand the theme with zombie like characters. Several of their videos at that time were to compete in Road to the Kingdom (the competition of bands to participate in the Korea drama - Kingdom) - it makes more sense when you realize they are creating these videos to compete to be part of the Kingdom story line - OneUS is amazing - you gotta watch LIT (Road to the Kingdom) and the other LIT video (taekwando version) it is a massive production filmed at a historical site. Both are great, love the use of fans and other cultural dance/dress... love love love this band

Another thing about Oneus songs is that they do this thing where a lot of their songs have kind of a rhapsody style where one section of the song might sound like it’s a completely different song from another section, and then they change it yet again. The last thing you should know is that Oneus obviously has a storyline. You see them protecting the child. They are knights from an olden time. In a future music video and introduction video they finally defeat the monsters they are fighting here and seal them away somewhere but have to be sealed away with them. Hundreds of years later they are released by blood from their prison and emerge into a modern world along with the monsters that they have previously defeated. It’s kind of a cool story.

A lot of it is so different it sometimes feels like comparing apples and oranges. But they are a massively talented group of guys and they've got a little something for everyone. Come Back Home is the precursor for their song To Be Or Not To Be. It's just as dark and theatrical in concept but less intense in sound, so it could be a good follow-up song to check out. Or you could go with their "acclaimed" songs LUNA or Same Scent; the former earned them their first music show win and the latter earned them their most wins with 4.

Heya John! So awesome to see you check out ONEUS! I just saw them live at the beginning of the month in Cali and I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said about how talented they are. Their pitch stability live is incredibly wild, especially taking into account the difficulty of their choreography as a group. They’re so incredible and have one of my favorite discographies of the artists I listen to. Some people have recommended Lit and I agree wholeheartedly, they’re definitely a concept group and they nail each and every one that they do. I would also recommend No Diggity (the rock elements in this song get me every time), Black Mirror, and Bring it On. All 3 have music videos so I’d love to see your take on them someday! I saw their concert in person with my family in Pennsylvania last year (2022) and their performance was just as strong as you saw in the music video. They are awesome!
Oneus are amazing and even wrote most of thier songs. They also have the most diverse concepts. Literally you never know what your are going to get with them. There is no leader. And there is a story movie for this and to be or not to be is the next in the story line and it has 2 story videos. Thier debut (valkarye is fantastic)
