Michelle, I designed your house! I was having a rough day today, and it brought me lots of comfort and happiness seeing you so happy in your home and knowing I had the great privilege of being part of your story.
Love her personality!! 🙌. I think we All need to be Content and Grateful we have a Roof over Our Heads, no matter what size of Home it is! 🏡 This Owner has discovered it!! 🙏🎉🎉
I love your house. The colors and design are beautiful and I really like the surroundings you’re in. Sadie also seems to like it and “helping” you when you’re reading. ❤️😊
Love the cat, the pink sofa, the downstairs bedroom and the happy feeling of the place! I had to laugh--kindly--at the clutter in the loft because that's the reality!!! No matter where one lives, big or small, there is always going to be the stuff that has no tidy place to be. It is things that you need (tools, etc.; ) to access fairly regularly but take up bulky storage and are eyesores.
Why is this home so expensive. I have been looking for trailers and found 3 bedroom, two bath and a lot of space that look like a stand alone home for $89,000 or less.
Yeah welcome to mobile home living! You own the home, but you're a renter subject to the park rules. I have learned that and not really my jam either. However, it is "affordable" - depending on where you live. So WTH? As a country/world we still NEED the "missing middle" (neither a SFH nor a condo). Pretty challenging to find.....
I always look forward to seeing a new tiny featured here on your channel, but I noticed you have a new intro. I like this one but your old one was nice too❤
It is furnished and how long ago did you purchase your home more importantly she is happy with it and you must be also so don't bring negativity to someone's dream😊
Its not negativity. Its stating that the point of tiny homes was to be more affordable and the prices are getting very close to that of smaller houses. Lot fees need to be taken into consideration too. @@MarySelvidge
@cerscil Totally agree. I just called about a tiny home yesterday. The home $90,000. To buy in extra $35,000. Then monthly land lease at least $300. There are other fees as well. Before tiny homes became so popular they were cheaper.
I think the problem with the kitchen countertop is due to the sink having been installed under it rather than with its edges sitting on top of the wood.
I love Michelle's great spirit. Is Van Alstyne really that expensive? I'm just guessing a 15 year loan of about $900 a month plus her current $550 space rent is well above local apartment rents. I'm thinking that a used park model 399 sq. ft. would be a better purchase and have more resale value when it comes time to move. My understanding of used tiny homes is that most sell at a great discount, although the seller of Michelle's tiny home hit the jackpot. I watch tiny home and park model videos to get decorating ideas for my 864 sq. ft. house (not many videos on houses that are around 900 sq. ft.).
All one needs. I didn’t notice any shelves or cat ladders so that Sadie can get to the loft or at least have a larger area to traverse. Maybe think about a shelf around the perimeter up high with a place to jump up on to it would be fun for her. I live in a small aframe cottage with two cats and I don’t use the upper level but my cats love racing up the stairs and around and back down. The space is small so otherwise I’d be building cat trees and shelf’s. I see you still have your camper so that’s good a nice change to still take trips you and Sadie. You’ll figure out any changes as time goes on. Nice home!
Not all cats are the same 🤗. I have a cat that hates getting up on things and has rarely if ever run anywhere, lol. I also had a cat that looked like Sadie and he was so mellow, he really just loved to hang out on the back of the sofa or a chair.
@@IceLynne I’m 65 had indoor cats all my life. I’m aware how different they can be . Some are tree cats some more cave like . Doesn’t matter as long as they have space to move around . If you don’t have a large one level them going vertical is the next option, which is why I suggested it. My cats are scared of company or any knock at the door. They hang out with me all day and don’t run around much but when the Knock comes or I vacuum then it’s whooch up the stairs for awhile. Having an option to get away and go hidey in a 200 sq ft Tiny is a sensible option for a cat whether they use it regularly or not. $20 for a couple boards for shelves and some screws and all set. 😀
Yep. All cats need room to explore and be active, otherwise cat is bored and underachieving. When the cat's human takes time to engage in play, this becomes evident. Provide perches, hide-away spaces, playtime, etc. I've had cats all my life. All are unique but basic needs are the same.
@@happytrails3 yes and when somebody says their cat just likes to lie around I sometimes think.. does it have any other options? I moved from a trailer park to here 23 years ago. I had two cats about one years old at the time. When we came here I started feeding birds as there were no outdoor cats to bother them like in the the park. Well my cats went nuts they loved that! So I have my bird feeding station so they can see from patio doors. This place had stairs to a loft and they soon were absolutely zooming up and down those stairs it was unreal to me. At my trailer home it was one level with just furniture to climb I didn’t even have a cat tree. I’ve certainly learned that inside only cats especially need extra attention and an environment to play and climb and get around . I’ve seen many Tiny homes with overhead walking and climbing for their cats. Just think it’s important. I used to take my cats on harness and leash for walks outside on my property too but too many neighbours let their dogs go off leash and scare us that I had to stop. I wish I could afford a catio for the two I have now.
I really like how to use the space it is so convenient but just one thing I did not understand you put the tv on the stove does the heat effect the tv ? it is possible can be broken because of heat of the stove
As she said, the stove is only needed for 2 months out of the year, when she is using the stove she doesn't keep the tv there. So for 10 months the stove makes a nice TV stand.
Do ya'll get paid for a positive feedback (comment) ? I would love that. I once met a guy in Oklahoma who paid $ 60,000 for a triple bathroom, seven bedroom ranch there .. Just saying ..
@@tabitha-sk5kcI suggest to do your due diligence re: Boxable. They're behind on their orders and I haven't seen one being toured by one who lives in it. Christina Smallhorn has made several vids abt it. The comments were very interesting.
This doesn't seem to be the right setup for a cat. If he's in good health, he needs more room to run and play. Being from the Midwest, I have to laugh at the price, plus rent of the lot. Wow. Nice tiny place though! Nice scenery. p.s. Hope that candle is fake, esp. with kitty.

I couldn't live in a tiny home...but I know she absolutely loves it!!!
Way to go Michelle!!!
Thank you Ken. :)
I've visited Namastay and met its wonderful owners. It is absolutely a wonderful tiny community.
I love her home. It seems just right for her and her cute little kitty!
It's so cute. It packs a lot of living in that tiny space. I'm glad you're enjoying it and I love your cats.
Very nice - - I think I would add a porch - just because it would fill out the living space.

I love the pop of color for the pink couch.
Great colors inside and out! Beautiful and has a feeling of spaciousness.

Love the color of cabinets and such
Your bathroom looks plenty big enough. The bedroom is really nice too. It is definitely small your home but it is fabulous too. 👍☮️
Now this is a true tiny home! But everything fits so perfectly, wow
L❤VE! The tiny home, the lady and her cat, the lot her home is on and the music that accompanied the video!
Really pleasant tiny home house. I enjoyed the interior colors and layout so much. I am definitely interested in purchasing a tiny house.
Love this, Michelle! Your tiny home is so well thought out and cute! You were so fun on camera! Congratulations!
She’s cool! Great to see someone so happy making choices that are right for her! Beautiful home!
I still love your intro music .It still makes me instantly happy. Love your videos too.
Glad you enjoy it!
She has such an awesome personality.
I love, love, love this tiny house! This is my dream. Thank you for showing us your home.
The colour of cabinet (grey/green) is lovely
Very cute, beautiful kitty
Nicely laid out. She’s happy.
Her home is exactly the right portions and doesn't look cluttered
Wonderful. blessings to her. Her dishes are beautiful, if she kept them stored on the drying rack she could have another drawer...just a thought
This is an adorable home and it really does have everything you need!
Thanks for showing us.her nice home.

Use beeswax on the counter tops, it will restore and protect them xx
Love this home. In all honesty, it would be too small for me but I love the first-level bedroom.
Great job! I loved your tiny home, it’s so cozy 🩷
awesome tiny home!!! and wonderful presentation!!!
Cute and cozy.
Thanks for sharing your tiny home. Love your positivity.
Love your house and your T-shirt! (and your cat). The house is just lovely and I can see how it's perfect for you.
$83,000.00!?!?!?!?!?!
It' a beautiful place you have ❤ I'm very happy for you 😊 enjoy and God bless you
Very cute!
I'm so glad you found your spot🎉.
Thanks Jenna 😊!
JO JO IN VT 💞
I would try waterlox sealer around the sink or something similar. It is meant for boats. Wood adds the warmth.

I didn’t see price of tiny house.
1:30 ish
Where the Midwest where homes are cheaper?
From the outside it definitely looks larger than 200SF.
Seems lije she over paid but don't know the scene in TX.
$83k for 200 sq ft is insane. Especially to still be required to pay "rent"...not worth it imo.

Oh, $83,000 for the house plus $500 a month is a lot of money. My 3 bedroom 2 baths is so much less than that

$83K! that is steep
It’s adorable but I’d add a screened patio for Sadie to have more room to stretch and climb in.
Love your tiny home.
Glad your happy 😊
The house is very cute and I also like the sofa. I'm assuming it's not a pullout sofa but would be nice if it was for guests

No way i would spend that much and not own the land. $83,000 is too much for that small house.
$83,000😢
