As a German who studies our tanks I can confirm yes that is what would happen to enemy tanks considering those enemy tanks are most likely soviet tanks or Japanese tanks
The tanks and historical references and some stereotypes are detailed but how the tanks performed is not accurate because they defy logic and physics, like tanks drifting too much, too much plot armor, tanks going mach 10, and many more.
