Honest answer I am satisfied with the unit. It had some snags but the firmware fixed my issues with it. It gets the job done for me and the clarity of it meets my standards.

The image in your ATN 640 resolution scope looks better than the ATN 1280 res scope images I've seen.

Maybe you should give a thermal scope focus or setting tutorial to those that post videos with ATN 1280 scopes ?

It all depends on the weather conditions and if they know how to properly adjust to the conditions. I ran my scope with the sensitivity at 2, and contrast at 2 that's when the weather was 36 degrees and clear skies.

He's right there are 10 videos of "ATNs" 1280 and they ALL look worse than 640 quality. This however looks better than any 640 (4x base mag) ivr ever seen. Good ol ATN

I have the thor LT, Thor 4 in 640 and the Thor 5 in 1280. Each one is significantly better than the next. The 1280 is great. I can idetify with 100 yards what something is with the LT but any further and i can just tell its an animal. My Thor 4 can identify things at like 200 but futher again can tell its a pig or deer. The Thor 5 can identify at like 300 and i can clearly see features the show no doubt what that aniamal is
