The latest episode revealed the Kae was not truly dead but was instead knocked out so that Hana could take her as hostage back to the Land of Bamboo. The next episode will show the last battle that will determine everything including the fates of both Kae and Hana.
They have ruined the series in my opinion. Like the filler count is much larger than Naruto, I don’t care if it’s “filler canon”, majority of them suck. They need to make this a seasonal anime so the boruto reputation can still be saved. Or they can make it a bi-weekly manga and it can just have few filler add on episodes to the arcs and have little to no filler. Like seriously, Boruto canon episodes are good and now the show has a terrible reputation now. It can still be saved.
