Manny was born with bilateral Microtia and Atresia; both ears were malformed and he has closed off ear canals, which left him with a conductive hearing loss in both ears. As worried new parents, Manny’s mom and dad wanted the best life possible for their son, so they began to research hearing solutions for conductive hearing loss. One solution for conductive hearing loss is hearing through bone conduction, also known as a BAHA. Today, Manny is a successful student, competitive dancer, baseball player and couldn’t imagine his life without his bilateral Baha’s.
