I want to see the joker beating Jason and blowing him up but it's Lego and batman just has to find all the pieces and puts him together but it takes ages (because the arms take ages to put on)
There's a much easier way to have done this then making Red Hood just an upset iPad kid. He could have gotten captured by Joker, leaving Batman having to save him, afterwards Batman is scolding him for being reckless and questioning whether or not he is cut out to be a superhero. Jason would be upset that he would be blamed for getting captured and is intent on proving that he is completely capable of being a hero all on his own and sets off to take up the new mantle of the Red Hood and stop Joker without Batman's help.
Honestly, Jason Todd running away and having a tantrum is kinda accurate in a weird way lol. I mean, that's kinda how he got killed by Joker in canon; he was too hotheaded and refused to listen to Batman, so he ran off to fight Joker on his own and died. This is just a much more lighthearted and sillier version of that of course. Also, Jason throwing tantrums is just fully canon in Batman: Arkham Knight lol. He has all of these big plans to kill Batman and he keeps taunting him during every encounter and confrontation throughout the whole game, and when his plans to kill Bruce inevitably fail he gets really pissed and lashes out. He even berates and belittles the Militia when they aren't able to do exactly what he wants them to and Batman stops their plans. He's so arrogant and cocky, but has a full angry meltdown when he isn't able to kill Batman; he's kinda like a child lashing out because they didn't get their way. I feel really sorry for the guy, especially after we see the flashback of what Joker did to him, but he's also really annoying in that game lol. It's ok though, because they fixed him up and redeemed him in the Red Hood DLC storyline.
Actually, he only got portrayed as a bratty kid in more recent adaptions. He was actually the goody two shoes of the robins, the only time he really had any lash outs like he does in the newer content was when this rapist that caused a young tween girl to commit suicide "fell" off a balcony and it was never confirmed if Jason pushed him off or just didn't care to save him. Batman got a little annoyed but that was it pretty much. Theres also how he and Batman would disagree on stuff like if someone should go to jail or not, as Jason grew up on the streets and knows the kinds of things you're forced to do in order to survive. He was a sweetheart until he got deeply traumatized and also went sort of crazy from the Lazarus pit. Because he has his whole revenge stuff after the death, more recent portrayals like Under the Red Hood and Death in the Family decided to make him like that prior to his death as well. Theres a reason why its a common fanbase head canon that he loves Pride and Prejudice, he actually loved school and education. Also, he was caught by Joker because his mother sold out Jason's location. She watched him get tortured and just stood around, only to get double crossed by Joker and tied up in the warehouse with Jaybird while the bomb was ticking. Even despite that he died trying to untie her in hopes that she could get away even if he couldn't.
When he was killed he actually told his mom he was Robin to try and prove that he can help her get out from working for the Joker. And she led him to warehouse and told him that the Joker was gone and it was safe. So he didn’t run off. Batman assumed that was the case because the only living witness of this event was the Joker and why would he say anything about it?
I have seen this movie twice now, I even made Tumblr posts about it. It is so great, I highly recommend it. Damian isn't Damian, but honestly, the other stuff makes up for it. @@carlosemilio5180Blues/Proto Man has had many variations but that was the first to go full Red Hood- Blues was a reoccurring boss in the third game and then revealed to be the first Robot Master in the end credits but his motivation was kind of ambiguous? The idea of him having Red Hood-type issues was only brought into official media in those comics, though those comics heavily borrow some of the lines from The Megas, where I’m Not The Breakman gives him that energy.
Everyone is bringing up Tim's exclusion (I guess Damian was close enough for the people who made this crackfic and wormed their way up to official release), but Steph's time as Robin isn't acknowledged anywhere. However, give us the bi rep we need DC. Let him out.

Note even just the Robins though lol, there are also multiple Batgirls as well. There's also more than one Alfred (Alfred Pennyworth and Alfred Beagle), at least two different people who use the name Batwoman, as well as the rest of the extended Bat Family. Batman lore is actually really complicated, and it only gets worse when you take into consideration ALL of the lore spanning all the way back to the Golden Age when Batman was created.
Up next Lego Arkham asylum: a serious house on serious earth where Amadeus arkhams wife and child just leave cause of mad dog existing instead of murdered by him. And don’t forget Lego Batman: the killing joke where joker steals Barbara gordon’s leg piece and kidnaps Jim Gordon to make him go cuckoo and it ends with Batman taking joker’s head piece off his torso or laughing with him (up to interpretation)
This movie was literally pure gold, and I'm glad these reviewers,,, agree.. ? Yes. Either way, I'd give the movie and this video a "not dead Jason Todd" outta ten 👍
Lego Batman media deconstructing the character: High budget movie showing him as a lonley loser with nothing in his life beyond his villains and not even the other superheros likeing him only for him to learn about family and its importance to him showing that he can have a relativley normal life as long as he is a good hero to Joker and not a shit dad. Watchmen eat your heart out this is true art. Also in this movie Batman bad dad but then better dad showing the message.
Imagine they adapt the Killing Joke segment from Arkham Knight, but instead of Joker's "usual approach", he just throws a hotdog at Barbara. I will pay all my savings to see that
I'm ngl, I'm usually not a fan of the more recent versions of Jason where he's an uwu soft boy who just wants a hug, usually because most of them turn around and make Damien the family bad guy, but this actually sounds hilarious
The real reason Tim isn't here is because his father is still alive and so he wasn't adopted by Bruce ever, meaning it'd just be awkward if he got into the family drama
Genuinely, my favorite Batman movie tho. Jason’s identity reveal will never not crack me up **pop** “The second Robin?! I thought you were dead!” “YoU sAiD i WaS dEaD?!”
My biggest whiplash from making someone child friendly was Damian in Merry little Batman. The whole thing is honestly so far away from being accurate that it loops around to be kind of good anyway. When I think of Damian Wayne, I see him as an angry little Robin with a sword. As someone who had to be told by Dick and Jason not to kill anyone. He was raised as an assassin and had tamed some giant red monster with bat wings as part of his training. So him being a cute little kid, just felt unreal.
If I had a nickel for every time a teenage bright eyed orphan teenage superhero was killed off and was revived in 2005 I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice
I don't know why but it was so surreal to me to hear the Robin va from Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go and fucking Kevin Conroy in the same piece of media
arkham series: jason was tortured by joker and thought bruce left him movie: jason dies and gets resurrected by lazarus pit comics: jason dies and... comes back to life... after superboy prime rips through time and... space... what lego: jason runs away because bruce unplugged his game in all realities he becomes red hood and shoots criminals even if lego won't show it but at the same time lego one is the most making sense despite being stupidly ridiculous
I hated this version of the characters ngl but that's just cause jason had such a sad heartbreaking death then turned it into a gaming addiction somehow
No because why is DC so scared to have four robins in one place. In movies and shows you’ll see two or three robins sharing the screen AT BEST. Like no, stop it, give me all 5 please.
The fact that many people in the comments didn't knew lego DC movies exists is prove that they are underrated. My favorite is Gotham City Breakout where Batfam goes on vacation and leaves Gotham to Superman.

Batman: looks at orphan-
OLD SPICE
Everyone is bringing up Tim's exclusion (I guess Damian was close enough for the people who made this crackfic and wormed their way up to official release), but Steph's time as Robin isn't acknowledged anywhere.
However, give us the bi rep we need DC. Let him out.
Don't you guys remember that bi people are invisible
Okay but yea where's Tim and also duke and steph and cass???
i love how that deep lore dive only gave it 2 1/2 stars
Cassandra Cain is my favourite Batgirl and Damian Wayne is my favourite Robin :D
My favorite of the three bay girls is Steph and then we got my dudes Jason and Dick in a tie
Based opinion. StephCass for life
Okay the "Say a few words please joke" is the best joke of the movie
Ah yes, the one where the guy who inherited his fortune lectures his kids about how they have to "earn their own way in the world."
5:54 if "i want it to be that deep" was a person.
3:13 Not the Robins 💀 everytime I get on a rant about Batman lore I gotta explain all the fricking Robins cause Bruce just doesn’t know where to STOP.
4:19 and yes where is the queer boi we need him back unlock the basement and give us the bisexual mess of a human being
Note even just the Robins though lol, there are also multiple Batgirls as well.
@@negligible_reality its so hard to explain to my fam, especially cuz most of the time they dont wanna hear it
I recently started getting into DC and batman stuff. My brain still can't comprehend all the lore, especially when I learn something new or crazy
@@copyshy wait till you hear about the Batman Who Laughs
@@copyshy lmao buckle up. It's pure chaos. I swear comics are not beginner friendly AT ALL 😭
2:24 When bro captured the Bat Family, and just waited for Batman while just casually playing video games on the Batcomputer has me dying
“NO MORE! All the consoles I’ve unplugged…”
4:18 W KILLER MOTH.
I appreciate you using Something in the Way in the background instead of something more "obviously Nirvana"
2:43 Jason Todd deserves his Power Girl moment. It's a symbol... of the batfamily he's no longer a part of... and also his great pecs
Something about Scott Menville (teen titans and teen titans go robin) voicing Damian is so fitting
You mean to tell me Cobblepot found The Riddler and invited him to go to his private island (Probably adding “no homo”)
1:34 Wayne Family Adventures spotted 👁
YeeeEEEESS
6:34 racially motivated💀
I really think THIS PERSON is the only one which needs therapy if that's the message she received from this LEGO movie.
*"My Father was a gamer, so naturally, he was violent!"*
Why is jason lowk better depicted in the lego movie than in recent comics...
Because Lego is based
Imagine they adapt the Killing Joke segment from Arkham Knight, but instead of Joker's "usual approach", he just throws a hotdog at Barbara. I will pay all my savings to see that
This was the BEST way to figure out this movie exists
3:52 You know your done when Batman starts to smile
I'm ngl, I'm usually not a fan of the more recent versions of Jason where he's an uwu soft boy who just wants a hug, usually because most of them turn around and make Damien the family bad guy, but this actually sounds hilarious
This is like if Jason Became the Arkham knight, only because Batman didn't get Waffles for breakfast
The real reason Tim isn't here is because his father is still alive and so he wasn't adopted by Bruce ever, meaning it'd just be awkward if he got into the family drama
Genuinely, my favorite Batman movie tho. Jason’s identity reveal will never not crack me up
**pop**
“The second Robin?! I thought you were dead!”
“YoU sAiD i WaS dEaD?!”
How the heck did he keep up his physical training if he’s a murderous gaming addict
Me watching this while eating a batman marshmallow :)
3:14 My brain instantly went to six the musical… what if.. robin the musical 👀
I would genuinely watch a Robin musical. We need more Robins and Batgirls in Batman media, especially in live action.
Holy Musical Batman has Robin in it
Another awesome video.
Thank you so much!
@@tonkajoey08 I kept replaying the beginning, cause it was very well made. Then I watched the whole thing.
If I had a nickel for every time a teenage bright eyed orphan teenage superhero was killed off and was revived in 2005 I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice
It really was the year for it, huh?
Cassie and barbra are probably my fave batgirls but I’m going to say Maps for the meme
I love them but steph is a queen
I was a total Batman nerd back in the day
I don't know why but it was so surreal to me to hear the Robin va from Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go and fucking Kevin Conroy in the same piece of media
Its a lego movie honestly what do you expect? They're not gonna put in a joker torture scene, that would so traumatise children
arkham series: jason was tortured by joker and thought bruce left him
movie: jason dies and gets resurrected by lazarus pit
comics: jason dies and... comes back to life... after superboy prime rips through time and... space... what
lego: jason runs away because bruce unplugged his game
in all realities he becomes red hood and shoots criminals even if lego won't show it but at the same time lego one is the most making sense despite being stupidly ridiculous
They pose and film the Nightwing Lego Mini fig to put focus on his butt and I appreciate that
Batman: Under the Red Hood is one of my favourite Batman animated movies. How did I just find out about this?
Lore of The Funniest Official Batman Adaptation momentum 100
2:31 "this review may contain spoilers"
Spoiler is not in the movie, they're clear
forever going to be politely bitter that they didn't have my boy tim in there 😔
I mean Jason would've probably did leave Bats like that, if he didn't die first
He really have a tragic backstory, really shows you how much a person can go through life just suffering. DC should take notes
I just love how somethings in the way in the backround
I hated this version of the characters ngl but that's just cause jason had such a sad heartbreaking death then turned it into a gaming addiction somehow
4:03 Hey, tunafish and spaghetti go great together!
5:31 i meannn, Wayne took her words literally..
The Arkham music just makes this even better 😂
No because why is DC so scared to have four robins in one place. In movies and shows you’ll see two or three robins sharing the screen AT BEST. Like no, stop it, give me all 5 please.
The ammount of people simping over fucking lego characters.
Ok so i know what movie im watching tonight 😂
The fact that many people in the comments didn't knew lego DC movies exists is prove that they are underrated.
My favorite is Gotham City Breakout where Batfam goes on vacation and leaves Gotham to Superman.
The multiple inaccuracies in this movie:
>Jason todd is a gamer girl
>Two Face doesn't have have on both sides of his face
Jonkler should be here
