i had an iphone 6, that i loved, but i lost it at a cab driver´s seat. then i bought a galaxy note 5, and its soooo much better!! using the pen in meetings is what impressed me the most. and the 4gb ram, of course.

For reason 12, you forgot to mention the front facing camera of the Note 5 shoots quad HD video. Also, the audio quality is better because of the stereo mic.

I have always wondered why people need access to the file system? I have never thought about it and no know one who has ever mentioned to me. please email plain why it is such a big deal. on my iPhone all my docs, photos, etc are synced via the cloud straight away to my macs so if I need to move anything I just use my mac book. in fact I know plentiful Android users and none of them have mentioned access to their files is even vaguely important. I had a Note but you can write quick notes of a few words but if you want to use the people to write say a 1000 word letter or report it is useless. on my iPhone I just dictate and use my mac to transcribe that into typeface. I sold my Note as I found it a gimmick that I never found productive. signing pdfs for example. I don't think I have ever done one of those but the iPhone has an app for that. split screens on a 5.7 inch device has always puzzled me. the whole reason I get a phablet is for the larger screen not to make too small screens. and users always say it is more productive yet their example is watching TH-cam and looking at Twitter! try having word and excel open and being productive on two tiny screens! Not saying it's a bad phone just operated for most people who have no interest in many of these so called advantages. Only my opinion and if it works for you go for it.

No one uses Skype on the iPhone. There is something way better called FaceTime.
Few things for which i ditched my iphone to Note 5 :-
- Lock screen memo.... An idea pops in your mind and you need to take a note? Just grab the Note 5 remove the Spen and write it all down, put the pen back and vola u just saved a million dollar idea,
- Pick up a call with your voice. Just say "Answer" and Note 5 starts the call and put it on speaker mode. When your hands are dirty and u don't want to mess up that call this is amazing feature.
- Samsung SideSync. This is just awesome software and works like charm. It starts a clone of your Note 5 on your desktop. All you need to do is to have Note 5 and PC on same WiFi connection. You can even Put your Note 5 in another room and start its camera from PC and see live feed of that room. Not to forget the drag and drop file transfer between each device. Your phone is charging somewhere no problem EVER.......
- Little feature but not to be neglected, Wave your hand above your Note 5 that is lying on the table beside you and wake the screen. No longer need to press that power or home button to check world clock, weather, notifications or any of your lock screen widgets.

I used to have a galaxy and I loved it! I recently upgraded and got an iPhone 6s, and I really like it there some qualities I can appreciate about the iPhone, I don't hate it but I don't love it yet. I really do miss my galaxy there are just some things I really enjoyed and I can't do with the iPhone, but I wanted to try something new and I don't regret it I'm still glad I gave the iPhone a chance! :) I have a galaxy tablet and I love it, so I guess I am not completely missing out on the galaxy experience, which is good because I'm a huge Sami fan but I think we should all be open to trying new things. So far iPhone is not that bad at all!

I just got my first iPhone and I agree with everything here lol. I miss tons of features that I thought was the norm in the phone industry but after moving to the "innovative" company, I'm sadly mistaken. I'll probably just keep it and hope in a year that apple gets on board. Keyword, hope.
as someone who likes both ios and Android I think he did a fair comparison. both systems copy one another and become more similar with every iteration. both companies act like pioneers when they both steal from smaller competitors or gobble up emerging competition. Samsung pay is the most user friendly addition to a phone I've seen in a long time. Apple and Google missed the boat.

As someone who used both phone i agree with all of these except #3, #8,#25.
#3) With a 2A charger the iPhone 6s plus charges fast two, actually slightly faster then the note 5. Apple doesn't advertise it, but the chip is compatible .
#8) Iphone also has that feature, its called hide.
#25) iPhone has it as well to an extent.

Someone replied that these are FACTS, but in the end, it's still PERSONAL PREFERENCE. Only 3 features (of the 25) that I miss on the Note 5 not on IPhone 6S plus: 1) multi window, though very limited apps compatibility (especially compared to windows), still good to have a youtube video running on the side2) Blinking light for missed notification, which I already loved back in the days with Nokias3) Permanent smaller window one handed mode (a real innovation from Samsung) Everything else is irrelevant to me (wireless charging for example), or personal preference again (I prefer more realistic colors of LCD vs over saturated colors of amoled). I would add three more features to my list if it was the Note 4: micro sd card, removable battery, and IR blaster

They flash the camera flash though, don't they? The camera flash isn't nearly as visible or discreet as a small LED on the front, and unless they've changed it in the Note colours, flash rate, etc. can be customized with Lightflow.

Note 5 is lighter and not bulky in your pocket while 6s plus is huge and heavier.
75% of these reasons were software wise. Please dont compare IOS to Android. This makes no sense since you cant compare them.

I am more of an apple person, but these are very great reasons. iPhones have more apps and the amount of software and cases/accessories are way higher. But I'm scared to get a Samsung and not like it (then deal with it for 2 years). So I'll stick with my iPhone :3

+Ch Mu Most carriers give you a month to swap back a phone if you don't like it. As for more apps, android play store is loaded with apps now and with an otg cable really it's no argument on accessories. Don't get me wrong, if you've been with apple for awhile you're vested in that marketplace and that's enough of a reason to stay.

I just switched back to the iPhone 6s Plus from a note 5. The note 5 is a more powerful and technologically capable phone than the iPhone. You can do more stuff with it. But at the end of the day, the management of a phone is not as important as the usage of the phone. By that I mean constructing emails,texts, taking pictures, etc. I find the iPhone easier to use, but that is because that is apples philosophy. Easy to use and intuitive. Not as complex and advanced. Even tho the engineering into apple products is quite advanced. You can't go wrong with either. But iMessage is the deal breaker for me. And how easy to use the apple keyboard.
Some of this things you do on note 5 can be done with jailbreak

Man, is it just AT&T cause I got rid of bloatware and everything--and the thing ran terribly. Dropped calls like all get out too. I MISS the screen and multitasking terribly. But that's about it.

I personally think samsung did the wrong move by launching the note 5 early. This phone disappointed many people and now they don't have the excuse "it's because our sales are stolen by the iphone".

These two mobile phones are not comparable. They have two different OS. We can talk about design, and that it is a matter of taste. There remains only the quality of the camera, screen and sound. Personally, I prefer Android phones because of OS and adaptability...
