Lookin great! I’m getting ready to redo the floor of my tag trailer, not real excited about grinding all the screws off but it’s got to be done. Thanks for sharing!

I feel your pain on getting the old bolts out and fixing the angle iron structure. .
    That's 90% of the job.
I done 1 for a customer he spent big money on treated 6/4 tounge and grove for the decking.
It looked awesome when I got done
But I said a lot of ugly words grinding those big self tappers out and repairing structure.
Good luck. And I enjoy watching your vajahoes.

Somebody explain please? What does Wade mean when he says 'live sawed?' Does it mean the log hasn't been aged at all?

Trail king uses appleton wood. Had to pre-drill all the screw holes too. Super hard wood. I was a welder there, but would help out in final/wood deckin when i wanted more than our usual 48 hour week. We never ship lapped them either.

Hi Wade! Sorry I'm late to the party! Those Tek screws are the only way to do a trailer deck.

I'm elbow deep in our low boy too. Except I had to replace all the cross members. In the process of blasting and priming it now but you probably watch my videos so you already know this... Lol.

Looks good Wade, its amazing to me how that wood decking just doesn't desintergrate under the 40,000 pounds of dead weight of the din-din.I know that steel frame takes the punch, but still.

wood had a compression weight around 100 tons before they squish so, if properly supported the wood isnt going to budge

That is FAS quality wood you have for decking. Second and third log wood will serve just as well. Sell or trade the FAs and get more low grade logs to cut the decking
