Thank you so much! I had a pdf with 4500 pages with a header on it and I was trying to find out how to batch remove it, your instructions worked perfectly! I wish Acrobat had a favorite/macro feature where you could record these steps and apply it to any pdf.

I used the next step (Adobe Acrobat Pro DC):
-Edit PDF-> Watermark -> Remove.
This deleted the watermark over all the pages. Hope this helps.
