Its a good video but damn lets be real all he has to do is watch a bunch of durby videos and clip them then edit them together and he probably made a decent compensation for the amount of work he did

I live in the good ol Arkansas and we have annual ones but not nearly this fast of hits. That doesn’t mean anything as I’ve seen engines explode, cars get sent right over barriers and one dude get sprayed down with hot water out of a radiator

Thanks for asking! Mostly more room for the car to bend around the wheels but still allow them to turn. Some also use it to lower the end of the car to change where the coming hit hits their car in a more helpful function.

In my neck of the woods, hitting the drivers side door is against the rules & automatic rejection from the rest of the heats, is that a rule everywhere? Also, no more than 10 cars per heat @ about 5/6 heats. That many cars was overwhelming yet exciting😂 loved all the footage!
Younger me loved this sorta atuff. Adult me also loves it, but also loaths at all the classics. future classjcs, and otherwise obscure cars that mets their fate here!
Many years ago I helped a friend prep some derby cars. What I recall is using oxy-acetalene to cut the q-panels behind the wheels to give them a better chance of bending up and out of the way of the wheels, but I'm not seeing much of this mod on these cars. Oh well, what do I know?
It is rare, other than minor bumps, cuts, and bruises. There are a number of safety measures that are in place. The people who get injured typically chose to be on the minimum end of safety.

What's the idea behind using smaller wheels on the drive wheels than is standard? You see it on a lot of these cars
