Problems
1. Lol V6
2. Very heavy
3. Very slow
4. Unstable at speed
5. No payload
6. More expensive than a raptor r
7. Terrible resale
Correct in every way. Raptor R would be a better way to go.
They were smoking something very strong when they thought they could sell these for 144k at scale.
Shelby should be a 90k truck not 144 when the raptor R is now available if 37 and duel valve then maybe 95k.
At a $120k discounted I would not expect "electrical fault" codes.

That tune and blue cruise is what ford needs to keep up with the RHO. The 10 speed vs 8 should make up for the 14 HP difference, of course lower the price a bit as well

Hey Ben! Thanks for the video. How about trying a review of the Shelby F-250 Super Baja that actually has a 6.7-liter Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel. I think they may have been trying to give us soimething with better fuel economy with the V-6, but failed to realize (DUH), that consumers actually want the power of a V-8.
Give me that white Gen1 in the background. The Shelby V6 thing is not for a real man 💪🏻

@@watkinsjason I don’t care how much “power” it has. A truck that looks like a Raptor cannot have and sound like a V6. The looks don’t match the sound and that’s all I really care about. The experience of the truck.
@@deadswarmaking1135 I was just playing about the manliness. But in all seriousness, I can’t have a sweet looking aggressive truck that has and sounds like a V6. I just can’t get past that. It’s cool, but then you hear it…plus mentally knowing it’s just a V6. I’d rather have a V8 normal GM, Ford, or Ram over a V6 Raptor and build it. Needless to say, I bought a Raptor R after owning a Gen2 for about 4 years. I just couldn’t get past the V6, no matter how good it looked.
Price aside, it’d be awesome to have one

Spacer lifts totally destroy a Raptor. They just lower the front differential which puts a giant lever arm on the frame. You don't want to drive that like a normal Raptor offroad.
Not to mention the service from Ford sucks. I bought my bronco in 2022 new and had a tie rod bolt loose from factory. It took 6 Ford service departments to find what was wrong...6 different service places. Ridiculous.
Raptor is my favorite truck
What issue was it displaying?
Cut the price in half and they would sell a bunch. Supercharge a V8 and they would sell more. I reluctantly bought a Tremor last year because Toyota dropped the V8 and recovery hooks.

I had a raptor, now I am in a new Roush with supercharged 5.0. 1000x a better truck. 705HP. Active exhaust. its the truck to buy.

I REALLY dislike the rear exit exhaust systems on 4x4's...your exhaust would get completely pinched shut should your ass drag wheeling.....
