If your salad leaves did end up slightly wilted: Put all of them in a bowl of water and let them sit for a while. It's like watering a flower :-) Then take them out when they're crisp and use them quickly after!
I started to tear up towards the end... when you talk about eating raw and loving more, it makes me emotional. i’m a vegan trying to go the whole way to raw because of the spiritual connection I feel eating this way. I was trying to explain it to a friend the other night, the way I feel connected to the earth is something i’ve felt this strongly before. she kinda thought I was crazy when I went off in a passionate rant. the same day I saw a video of you & John Rose both talking about the spiritual connection you feel from eating. regardless, you’ve really woken something up inside me and thank you so much. I love you and I hope you are having an amazing day. together we’re changing the world. 💭🌲🐳💕🌤🦋
My husband is such a neat geek, when he saw that veggie fridge and how appetizing everything looked, whew! Baby ! He went to work. Its good to have the best husband the world. Thanks Christina:))))
You can afford this if you don't waste money on inorganic material things that do not benefit your existence and hurt the progress of humanity and earth. Choose what is best for all of the Source. This is very practical. Thank you Christina.
Kristina! I found you randomly while trying to explore blending/juicing and I'm so happy I did! I cannot imagine how long it takes you to eat all of that produce. Anyway, I'm up to one -two meals fully raw and hope to make that a solid 2 soon. It's only been a week and I've lost 3lbs. I'm a nurse and currently a Student Doctor. As a future doctor, I sincerely want to emphasize clinical nutrition and disease prevention with my patients. "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food"~Hippocrates Thank you for sharing your expertise.
I'm going to skip all the hard work and entice some pixies from the Enchanted Forest to rotate my produce and keep my greens sprinkled with fresh morning dew. ;o) Seriously, I wish I'd known some of these things the first time I tried to go raw.
Could you please make a video fo your hair care routine, Kristina? I would love to know what products and methods you use to take care your gorgeous hair!
why is everyone complaining about this is an expensive life/?? Things go on sale, mix up what you eat. Sure thats a lot of blueberries in the front, but maybe thats what she likes, people waste a lot of money on drugs, alcohol and video games, maybe she doesnt use these things.
I am glad I watch this, looking into buying a new refrigerator. Knowing how to help storage my produce for longer life will help me find what am looking for.
Thank you for your inspiration🐰encouragement l want to be fully raw Terra. 💘 how you help so many people and encourage local 🚜 farmers . wow wow wow. Amazing.... Thanks.
I have been thinking about turning to a raw diet for a while but I have a problem. I'm only 15 years old and school takes up most of my day, I live in a house with a large family and therefore I hardly have any space in the fridge, I am also the only one in the household who is vegetarian, so I am kinda struggling right now, can anyone give me tips :/ ?
+Imbra Kim you're right. There's about $100 worth of berries there in her fridge. I just bought two punnets of blueberries today for $6 ON SALE. I've seen her eat fig meals and at my grocery store the amount she ate would've cost at least $25. My understanding is food is cheaper in America.
+Zane Caldwell I hate people like you, pressing buttons for no goddamn reason, you people need to get on a spaceship and make eachother mad, leave the happy people to enjoy the planet.
its seriously so inspirational knowing you have done this for 9 years and are so healthy and vibrant. I love how organized your fridge is and the tips you told us to help everything last long!! I think my fave tip is to bag the greens- I never knew the right way to keep my greens. i always take them out of the bag and they end up wilting more!!
I dont understand why people keep saying that is expensive..u have to think that she dont buy other things like fish chicken meat rice pasta..and she doesnt use oven or other things for cooking..those things consume much more!!
OMG, they DON'T. How much blueberries would you have to eat to feel full? And how long will that last? And she has multiple refrigirators. That run 24/7 as opposed to about one hour of running an oven.
It’s been great for me I do not think it’s expensive and I work part time and I nurse a baby I stay full. I don’t just eat Barrie’s all day there are other foods to eat. ( beans, brown rice, quinoa, potatoes etc)
Annie Gilbert Being vegan and a raw vegan are two different things dear....I’m assuming you cook your rice your beans and potatoes?..., Do you see any rice, beans or potatoes in that fridge? She doesn’t eat them.... she’s showing HER raw diet which is incredibly expensive.
So helpful Kristina!! I had no idea about the bagging for greens nor the berries one either! Feeling like I'm getting a full fledge education on the Fully Raw lifestyle. Super grateful for all you do! xo
Thanks for the tips about the greens. I actually left my spinach in the produce bag for about 2 weeks (before I saw this video), which I don't usually do. They never went bad, but I had no idea why. Now I know it's because of the bag. I'll start doing that from now on. Thanks again!
...and sometimes even more for organic. Definitely not a feasible lifestyle that a poor to middle-income person can choose when trying to raise a family.
It’s really not that difficult . My family of 4 thrive on tons of fresh fruit and veggies. This is done on 1 income. My husband works at a non profit, and doesn’t make a lot. We pick and choose what is of importance to us. I buy what’s on sale, and most often by non organic, unless organic is on sale. Also, make sure to by according to the season. This will help keep the bill down.
I thought that until I realized my local bog standard supermarket sells packages of organic fruits and veggies for just £1 each! I was spending way way more on junk/processed food before, and did not think a thing about it..funny how we do that.
U helped me clear out and organize my fridge wonderfully! I put big fruits all on one shelf, smaller fruits in a separate compartment... It's basically scattered everywhere
KettiexD Just try a plant-based vegan diet. There's nothing wrong with cooked foods like rice, potatoes, etc. It's still vegan, still healthy, and honestly it's cheaper than the standard american diet. Plus the rice, potatoes, quinao, or whatever else come in big amounts so you buy them less frequently. This is what I do. I of course still consume a good amount of fruits and veggies but those combined with 1 or 2 cooked meals a day it ends up being cheap.
Mikelpsu11 rice and white potatoes are unhealthy because they are mucus forming. Read arnold ehret or prof spiras work for free if your interested in optimal health
Mikelpsu11 You know you can sprout quinoa and eat it raw, same for all sorts of lentils, it is very easy and convenient. Keeping it raw allows you to benefit from enzymes and heat sensitive vitamines ;-)
Thank you so much for sharing your food storage tips with all of us. I was just wishing for this video and here you have it. I have been richly blessed by your inspiration in living Fully Raw. God bless you.
Yeah baby!, Thank you Kristina, you're fabulous and as always, very good at what you do for a living. :) I have a lot of large glass bowls to put my fruits in on the counter tops. I also have some fruits & veggies in my frig & freezer that I rotate. I love how you have your food arranged in your frig. I will use that visual as a much needed tip. :) Thank you a millions times over. Love your videos and you!

I only get what I need for 2-3 days and go to the market a few times a week. I hate going to the market but always enjoy myself when I get there and find new produce in season. Thank you.
You have such a lovely and calming voice Kristina :) another great video, it really helps a lot. I am vegan but I am really making an effort to start eating 80/10/10. I am still going to eat rice and cook soups and simple risotto recipes once in a while until I feel fully comfortable and confident in getting the right amounts of food. Hopefully though, one day I might go full on. You are such an inspiration! I love you
Great tip about the spritzing of green veg and putting them into non-plastic bags. Will put that into practise. Great balancing of the mango's too! I love the funny bits at the end of most of your vid's, I always keep watching to see those. Bless you!
Hey Kristina, Thank you for the storage tips, it's great to know how to preserve the produce especially when it is so expensive. The plastic bag method for the greens sounds like a great idea as well as rotating the food. Thank you sooo much for all of your knowledge and I look forward to the ebook.
Thank you for the tips! I live in Scotland and sometimes I use my window as a cold storage spot, it works great. :D Also, for banana storage, sometimes I put some by the window and some in the kitchen, because of the difference in temperatures they ripen at a different rate which can come in handy, especially if you you feel like you're always running out of ripened bananas (I know I feel like that all the time).
Really helpful! Watching your videos continue to inspire me to adopts more raw lifestyle. I look forward to buying cucumbers, tomatoes, avocados, and mangoes later. :) Thank you Kristina :)
thank you! I didn't know to keep tomatoes out of the fridge and to put herbs in water. Very helpful video so I am not throwing out as much produce. Thank you again.
Seeing the herbs in jars of water reminded me of this tip: I love green onions and just learned that you can regrow them multiple times! I just put the green onions standing in a small glass or jar, cover the roots with water, and put in a sunny spot. Now I always have some on hand. I am wondering if I can do this with anything else.
Watching your videos helps me to stay on track. Thank you!!! I might have to get my own fridge though because my husband takes up a lot of room with food that's not so healthy.
Great tips! I bought bulk and am moving through everything swiftly except for the lemons. Need to get creative so they are put to good use before they go bad.
I work in a grocery store, and I love to work with the fruits and greens! Thats where I learned how to properly store and "rotate" the fruits and veggies:D It's the only part of the store that's alive! !
With each video I learn more! There are some fruits and veggies I was keeping outside of the fridge that should be stored inside and vice versa lol This video has definitely helped me with proper storage techniques and even tips and tricks. You're awesome! Thanks and God bless :)

Oh my gosh! That's a beautiful full fridge!! Haha! And thank you for the tips!

It's amazing to see your fridge! So stocked! Maybe one day my fridge will look (at least a little more) like this.
Love how organized your refrigerator is! Great Tips!

you can afford this lifestyle if you buy inorganic food.
Jared Graham Thank you for this message. Blessings
withthemuses honestly wondering if you mean inorganic (not living)or not organically grown?
The live herbs in the water... genius!
She reminds me of Snow White with those puff sleeves. Well, Snow White did love apples. Maybe she was a raw vegan too :)

Loved apples so she can make apple pies.

Get a mini fridge in ur bedroom. If u can't afford one then get a job. Shooe ur serious about eating right
Show
Iv'e been veggie for about 3 months now, and i'm serious about it, I could get a mini fridge, thanks for the idea :)
Thank you so much for your advice, means a lot :) x
Same here. Got a job so I could maintain my veganism. I would try raw till four first. Great for transitioning, and can be rarely cheep.
I love the idea of rotating the food. A lot of times my produce will get lost somewhere in the fridge and I don't find it until it's too late!
Your fridge looks incredible Kristina. Thank you for sharing, it’s so inspiring to me
No one can afford this on an average salary. But that was a nice video to watch.

Most beautiful woman ever
i bet she smells like strawberries
I agree. I'm so jealous of her bf.
...and tastes like agave nectar :-P
How much does this cost per week?
I think about $150,- a week. Definately worth it! Atleast for me :) Greetings from Holland.

Yeah, the contents of that fridge probably cost half as much as the fridge. This is a luxury diet...

Thanks for sharing your storage tips. I love having all this great food in our fridge.
