Thank you for showing this experience. As someone who lives outside of the state and currently unable to make a trip to Williamsburg, it is so great to see what festive fun is being conjured at Howl O Scream. I used to be a scare actor for multiple seasons and it is so great to vicariously live and experience such a fun time at Busch Gardens. Thank you for all you do!
So the house that is behind Nevermore, used to be the maintenance building for Dragons Fire. That house was a haunted house about a decade ago. They used it for Sleepless Hollow manor, Tormented Tales and Hunted!
I can't really tell you how many of your videos I have watched but I wanted you to know how much I appreciate the time you take to film. This will be the first year in I don't know how long that we won't be purchasing the quick que for the houses (just gets more expensive every year...even with our pass members discount!!) Anyway at least we have your awesome videos to watch and still get to see all the houses. We are headed there this Saturday so we will keep our eyes out incase you are there!! Peeps!!!
46:18 sorry if I didn’t scare you It was my first day. but I had fun and the staff are so nice to me on the first day they told me a few things to say but I forgot the two so it was please stay and I had fun for my first time but what I did not know is that I got a lucky chance to be in your video. Thank you and peeps
The event looks good. However, as someone who grew up at bgw, I miss the country-specific houses. Bitten or Grimm's fairytales in Germany. Catacombs in France, etc. I know they have a limited amount of space, but having that continuity with the houses, and the scare zones just made Howloscream THAT much better. Also, I think having fewer actors “shown” is better. In Killarney Dinner, having the main room with all of those actors just felt overdone. Having them behind corners, behind drop doors, or themed within the environment. That would be a better usage of actors instead of packing them in one room.
Now the truth is Grimm’s Fairy Tales were kinda scary to read one of the pages from your childhood and Catacombs in France on the other hand might of had been cursed by the Phantom of the Opera at the Opera House to take revenge on the French town because for his beloved Christine, Quasimodo the Hunchback of Notre Dame should have been in French Quarters after being brought back from the dead to search for the love of his life, Esmeralda the poor lonely Gypsy Girl.
I remember they had a maze a few years in that other house back behind the Drachen Fire que. Grimms fairy tales was back there a year or so I believe. And there was a few years of Hunted in that building. Not sure what it was used for before. Great opening weekend for HOS!! ~Dawn
@@IoMGeek remember when they had the 2 mazes and then we sorta had like what was like a scare zone but basically and haunted trail in between the buildings I think it was? Some good ol days of HOS!!!
I saw you twice in passing wanted to say hi but got a little nervous. Still yelled peeps tho Lol. The second building behind drachen fire station was the maintenance bay for drachen fire. It Is now currently storage and break area for scaresquad during HOS. If you love Killarney Diner they have a tour this year for it to go into the house with the lights on for a behind the scenes tour ! Monster Stomp on Ripper Row is going to start September 29th.

Went this Howl-O-Scream this weekend and half of the things it seems in your video weren't there or weren't open. For a very busy Saturday night it was a very poor showing for BGW's event
So from what I gather, your event ticket gets you early access to the park and access to the houses (as opposed to Fright Fest where you need a ticket and the houses are an upcharge)... how much does this cost? because I can't find regular tickets on their website
Essentially. Ticket prices include admission to the park from when it opens through Howl-o-Scream. There is not an additional charge for the houses or anything. Ticket prices do vary but start around $50. Details here: buschgardens.com/williamsburg/tickets/theme-park-tickets/
Not sure anything really compares to the scale of Orlando’s HHN event. It’s so massive with 10 houses and scarezones and shows, plus the budget is clearly more. Howl-o-scream is a ton of fun but definitely a smaller event.
@@IoMGeek Agreed. HHN is the premier event in the country, nothing comes close, especially that BGW hasn't just not added things, but taken them away. Sad to see.
Anyone have recommendations of best weekends to visit ? My anniversary Is Oct 3rd and me and my girls first big date was hallo scream so we're going back but I don't want to be there on a super busy night
@@IoMGeek thank you sir. Love all your videos. I really appreciate all your hard work bringing us the experience while we sit in the non scary comfort of our homes 🤣. Hope to run into ya one day will definitely yell out PEEPS!
@@IoMGeek hhhhhmmmmm.lmao. Finally got to ride pantheon. Oh my wow. That is the new fave. We will be back Sunday. Coming back up October 17th for the week.
Love the Howl O Scream vids you do. The haunted houses were really good this year, save for Inferno, which was a HUGE downgrade from Dystopia.. The other four houses were great, led by Death Water Bayou. Aesthetically, this wasn’t Busch Garden’s best effort. The park overall just didn’t have the typical Howl O Scream vibe in comparison to years past. Are they having trouble hiring? The park seems understaffed. Anyway, the houses saved the trip and were really good, the rest of the event was below standard. 👍👎🏼
I was the guy that yelled peeps at you at 19:29 in Ripper Row. It was so awesome to see you!! The event was the best too🎃💜
No one cares

You have no idea how much I appreciate your howl o scream videos I miss going
These are my favorite videos. I look forward to them every year.
I am so so excited I got to meet you in person! It was such a mood booster

I vaguely remember Sleepless Hollow, but I definitely remember the other two!

Witch of the Woods looks improved this year. More appearences by the Witch, more set pieces, a changed up layout. I'm excited to hit it up this year!
I’ve waited all year for this one video 🎉
Great video brother. Can't wait to see the next one
So sad I missed you last night! Hope you had a great time!!
No worries Ariel! We’ll have more chances I’m sure!
thank you for this because me and my family are going to howl o scream on Saturday and seeing this made me less scared
Thanks for stopping by Inferno. Making us #1 stop. I’m at 22:13
THAT WAS YOU?! YOUR SO COOL
I’m so so so excited I really hope that I’m able to go this year if I can’t then you know I’m watching all of your howl-o-scream videos
Hey! I’m so glad I met you in person. I’m Martin by the way
Loved the video I told I was going to watch it yesterday ❤️ I Took a photo with you
I remember!
❤️
This is great! Love this!
We here again round 2. So much fun!!!!
I love that the some of the staff members recognize you and can work "peeps" into their material!
Wow Skeletones is completely different compared to last year which i liked a lot. Interested in seeing the full show as this looks even better.

Absolutely remember that! I actually really liked that layout idea. It was like one line for two houses.
@@IoMGeek we did too!! 🤗 Enjoy the rest of haunt season!!!

You made the video.. Nice! I'm hoping to run into him sometime.
Thank you 💖
Scary Tale Road and Grogon Gardens look fun. I will be going the last week of September.

it was great seeing you again, next time we gotta do a peeps intro
IM SO EXCITED TO GO THIS YEAR
I was there then too! I thought the houses were better then last year and I loved the extra security. !!
The wolf was awesome!!
Awesome 👌 video
The other building was the maintenance building for Drachen Fire.
I saw pics of Alpengeist getting a new paint job on its supports I hope it will be open when I go this October

I miss Howl O Scream, I performed for one of the shows in 2005
Oh my gosh! You saw Julian.
What are the best 2 houses this year and which ones should I really only do after dark?
that art work was done a month after the opening of Dark kastle
Me and my freind was the one that yelled peeps in line for witch of the woods. I was in the red.
Ha! That’s awesome!
You need to do a howl o scream food and drink guide!!
Ah man I was in ripper row when it started I dont know how I didnt see you😥
we were just there
the way he said “oh” when the girl screamed around 8:30

It’s been dialed back a lot since about 2014. It’s more open and predictable now unless they improved this year
I never ever went to hallowscream when I was little idk now I found out I have a fear of costumes
So sad me and wife would go all the time and we would aways watch your videos before we went 15 years and she left me last November, 😭
Is it like Tampa only at night or is it all day?
Shows run during the day, but the haunts and terrortories start at 6pm.
@loMGeek can I share your haunted houses videos And Scare Terries please? I’ll give you credit. Please
Hey Alex! For now please just refer folks back to our videos rather than using them elsewhere. Thank you!
@@IoMGeek alright

No chainsaws in meat market this year ?
Not when we went. Mostly in the scarecrow area between Ireland and France.
The chainsaws rotate. They visit different areas at different times. They were in France more Friday night, Meat Market more on Saturday night.
10:29 ❤
Going Oct. 7th-8th
Hate to say it but you got to try the pizza pretzel at pretzel world. Way better and cheaper to
I’ll get it next time!
It's a Darkastle Mural
Thanks Ryan!
I went at the same time as you
The kid in Death Water Bayou was pretty silly ngl
The skeleton show reminds me of Beetlejuice graveyard review

Which house is less scary? Lol
Maybe try hitting Witch or the Woods during the daytime before it gets too dark!
I miss the the zombie one under Pompeii
