I actually think it’s better for the actors to have a voice track recording bc I feel bad that they have to yell themselves and probably lose their voice every night

i agree because im one of the actors and it does hurt like hell yelling and screaming. however if we were to also have a voice track, we would need cues of when to jump out when the audio is just right or else we miss our cue plus on the busy nights, its endless waves of people with maybe a few seconds of rest time. with the down time we hydrate n such but if we had audio, we may not be able to hydrate cause the cue is on timers. i really hope all of that makes sense
