None of those other phones you mentioned have SD card support. That's a deal breaker for me.
Held one the other day. It feels really good in the hand - it definitely feels expensive. In no way does this feel cheap.
I got one last week for 139 euros and a small extra amount (8 euros) on my monthly payments for 2 years . I have owned many iPhones and this Samsung was definitely a good deal, lovely phone and Android is now better than iOS
This is my backup plan, as I'm only waiting for it to atleast drop its price by at least 15%. It's currently $420, and I know it can drop to atleast $380, possibly lower. Other than that, I got 3 phones that I'm more interested in.
My simple con for this A55 is its weight and handfeel. Feeling premium doesn't warrant its heft and it's not comfortable to hold during long gaming session with it's weight, shape and how easily the temp affect the body making it hot to touch.
Good explanation nice video, how does the virtual proximity sensor behave for you?
It works fine for me.
I feel like this phone is going to be a steal a year from now when it goes down in price, but I get why it's not released in the USA. The A35 seems to be a solid phone also and the upgrade from that in the USA is going to be the S24 FE.
A35 is basically newer a54
It’s €350,- in my country. Probably similar in other countries.
Definitely a best buy.
Pro: Internal memory 256GB, 12GB RAM; con - it is not wireless charging enabled but was told that Olixar wireless charging adapter can address this issue needs confirmation and if true, I am not sure how this works since this model is not wireless charging enabled. Can someone confirm this? This model is available in Malaysia and it costs around USD418. It's even cheaper if you buy it online.
Think its not available in US,beacause it would be take sales away from S23 fe,
i just wish i can have that phone😢
Repair is easy, exchange battery or camera lens is easy.
A very good solid performing phone. I like it. No issues it's very smooth.
Hey, I got a question for ya, I just bought the a55 and I gotta say that I am disappointed on the speakers, they dont sound that much higher as I expected them, kinda stereo but not that much, I did compare it with my old s9 and my s9 sounds better and louder, so I had to adjust the sounds with the equalizer on settings to make the a55 sound like a real stereo with good quality sound, so here's my question, you said that they sound great, well do you think that mine are somehow damage or am I asking too much from this mid range device?
Everyone's hearing is different.
turn on dolby atmos also change equaliser settings to your liking.I have A35 its enough loud and A55 is tad louder than it
A phone is never gonna sound "great" with such tiny speakers. It's perfectly serviceable otherwise & on my end, audio comes across intelligible & clear with my A55. 🤔
I aint being mean but try to clean earwax
Sometimes differ from clean and clogged
So this is coming to the usa
Which is better S23 FE or A55?
Im pretty sure this phone is a good one that even your Cons isn't considered as a cons to many.
🙏🙏🙏
I have it for 9 days and my thoughts are:
Very good overall, better battery would be nice cus the phone is very thick and heavy
how is the battery after one month of use ?
@@MrCHAVINHOOO more or less 6 hours of SOT, i managed to get 8 if you watch only youtube and you dont touch the screen
every phone has a flaw and i think that battery can be better, it's not that much worse than a15 so i think it is deliberately made to annoy.
Cons don't bother me.
Can it be used in the USA tho
Yes it can
@@marccilliers4808 I figured so
But probably just TMobile or Att
But that’s fine
Duh
@CRAB.. can an A14 5G use in usa?
@MASTEROFTHECATS2326 yeah but that's not a good phone
In india it's price (12 gb) reaches nearly 46K (550 USD) and if added charger and cases it reaches 600$, which is a very high price for this phone. But when it's price comes down like 450 ~ 480, then it's a good phone.
Bought 3 days ago, 42,500 (256 gb obviously) for phone and 1200 for the original samsung's 25W adapter.
C type end to end wire is available within the box only.
@@just_my_point5678They know that. They mentioned no charger and no case, not no cable.
The price is not relevant anymore.
In my country it costs now €350,-
Any other decent phone is at least €500 + for example the newly released Google pixel 8a is also around €500.
So yea if you don’t need the best of the best, this is a great deal!
For comparison the A35 is a few 10s euros cheaper.
And last year’s A54 also a bit cheaper.
So wait a couple of months and the price will decrease.
Can it able to screen mirror to Samsung smart tv ? Pls tell
To all android tv. I have of LG and smart screen works beautifully 😊
Just get the A54. Almost as long of support and updates, better screen, plastic rounded edges, which are way more comfortable to hold, and a lot cheaper. A55's aluminium edges, are just too big and sharp, for a normal non giant hand to hold. Who cares about "premium" build, if it makes your hands cramp, after 10 minutes of use.
Does it support esim?
Yes
The A52S 5g and the A73 5g was the last two models before the the A series turned to garbage.
Go for S series than. I bought this phone and within the range around 550 USD, it's a win win.
nice phone but the chipset i dont like...👍🤔
A55 bezels are HUGE.
Samsung doesn't release some phones in the US because Americans are besotted by iPhones. You can hardly blame Samsung for that.
No good chipset performance of exynos, snapdragon is the best for midrange 7gen2, to 3
ya sadly samsung won't ever put any of snapdragon midranger processor in their midranger & even if they do it will one of those very old snapdragon processor
ugly processor I will swap my A54 to A55 if its Dimensity 7000 ultra lol
Go get china phone
What is your recommendation a55 or s23fe
Bruhh
A55 if you want a bigger screen and if you are in budget and s23 fe for the specs
The a55 with expandable storage is a no brainer for me. Got it today 👍
@@wagenneunundvierzig u can't be serious
@@Keitumetsemulaudzi why so serious
Gimme A34 any day. It's super cool. The glass back on A55 and A54 suck. Exynos chipset sucks. Otherwise ok.
It's not that bad, it warms up a bit when playing some games
💪💪💪💪💪💪
Too bad there's no U.S. release for this.
Samsung needs to be blamed for this, and we hope it doesn't happen again for the A56 and beyond
@@davidmosesisraelissacharno no..not Samsung..blamed Qualcomm tho and US govt tho..Samsung needs to pay extra if they wanted to bring the A55 to the US market..need to use US carrier standards and also need to use Qualcomm modem..easy way to do that is to make US version of A55 using Qualcomm SoC..and certainly Samsung not gonna doing that as it will be like their flagship S series.. difference in performance..
Big Display + Big Borders = Big Phone Lol....!!! 😂😂😂😂
Third class samsung mobile a55 5g automaticaly fault creating i am thinking no one buy Samsung mobile
pro 2 - is A total negative for me! any phone with exynos processor is a NO NO NO !
too expensive for its specs.
even vivo give better deals for their V30
Stupid use it first to enjoy it 😂😅😅😂
They fooled us by samsung using cheap chipset and sell it expensive no good.
