I've always really liked this song but thought this song was attributed to former band member Ian Curtis even though there's no correlation with the date that I can find as Ian was going on 7 years old at the time.

Yes, and I recorded the B side on a cassette to play it on the car stereo. I didn’t even record True Faith.
Takes me back to when I passed my driving test, and had this album on a double tape! And drove many a mile with this as a soundtrack :)
