  • Meeting with the team once a month to align and discuss priorities is crucial for leaders. Teams can easily get distracted by other tasks and continuous requests from other teams. If you do something like this on a recurring basis, you may want to schedule it and have it prepared for you. Automating this will save you time and keep everything in one place so everyone knows where to find it, as the link will remain the same over time. One of my favorite templates is designed for this purpose. This template. I start using it to add all the monthly deliverables that are a priority for each team member. During our meeting, the team can add additional tasks or bring up requests from other teams so that we can discuss overall priorities. Throughout the month, the team marks tasks as done once delivered and adds links to those deliverables in the resources section. So that we can all find them. Next month, we meet again, and I review the previous board to evaluate what was left and add notes to reflect what has happened and what is left to do. Then I do the same for the new month, seeing what happened last month and what remains unfinished. To set this up, I simply select the template, add a date. In this case this one is open for the full month. And mark it as recurring. That’s it. Now I can navigate between sessions, my team only needs one link, and we all can see this on our calendars. Including conclusions and key decisions. This gives me a perfect overview of everything we have done over time, which things were challenges, and which decisions were made overtime. This is automatically prepared. I personally just add the priorities and deliverables.
