How long before dressing in your chair came easy to you? That took like no time at all! Were you always flexible enough to put your foot on your knee? It seems I've tightened up quit a bit since being discharged almost a year ago...

Ling_the_Merciless sorry for the late, late response my friend. About two years after my injury and some days are better than others because my spasms have a mind of its own.

Good job... I get dressed in bed...lol, I still have trouble with the crooked crotch occasionally. You make it look so easy.

Thank you, Barbara... some days are definitely better than others when it comes to that crooked crotch lol. Keep trying when your in your chair, cuz practice makes progress, not perfection 😉

@TerrileeYo I get dress in both places. Yes, one is easier, but if you are able to learn to do it both ways; then by all means do it 🙂

Forgive me for responding so late. I don't have notifications turned on for anything 🥴

Just make life easier for yourself and use the bed.

Also…. Some loose fitting sweat pants might be possible to get on while sitting in a wheelchair but a pair of jeans tight fitting for women or even loose fit is a wrestling match you want to avoid.

I use to think the same thing in the beginning of my injury, but as I got older I needed to learn how to do it out of bed

@@freesoul3371lol it truly is a wrestling match, but they all go on one leg at a time, so taking your time and having some extra hands on deck can help you win that fight fare and square 😉
