I’m playing Subnautica right now, and I should’ve listened to you. I had a stalker to literally fall down a deeper part. I went and got it, and when I came back up both my trap and the stalkers were gone.😂😂

Thanks to this video I now have the cyclops. I made the mistake of playing below zero before playing the 1st subnautica and the 1st is waaaay better... Graphics, tools, biomes in general are cooler

Tbh the easiest method is to hatch some stalkers in alien containment, release them near your base (they won't attack you since they were raised in captivity) and give them scrap metal to play with. Come back every few days to collect all the teeth!

I got 2 stalkers and 5 steel wrecks with 1 trap. I took out all the fish and minerals and in 5 minutes I had 20+ teeth! Omg,... this trick is just awesome. Before I had such a hard time fining these stupid teeth...
@@Foxymus thank you eventually i found a good spot , since that i advanced alot alreagy got a cyclops and found some usefull bps and rubys and what not
It didn’t work very well for me at first, all they did was drag around the grav trap and then the trap would despawn, but after a minute I had enough for 3 cyclops!
Would this work with stalkers you hatch from eggs? I feel like getting them from eggs and then releasing them next to your own grav trap would be a lot safer.

@@mr.silverbones6373 i got it,you simply need to find the older ones (the bigger ones) and just place a grav trap and drop metal scrap and it will work!

So im in freedom mode and i pet a stalker whatever i find in safe shallows STALKER TEETH too many of them i have 2 stalker i pet 1 stalker is far from my base and 1 stalker is nearby it didn't bite me he bite me little Edit: i have idea for distract predator first find a gasopod and second if gas pod pops get it now last one find a slow predator i have that idea because i saw a stalker want to eat a gasopod but failed and gas pod use for protection
@@kycrend hmm, I wish I knew enough about the mechanics to understand why. Could you try placing the trap on a new stalker (several) and backing away. See if it constantly holds them in the trap. There will be an obvious beam tethering them to it. If that's the case try to place down the scrap and quickly back away. Since you said stalker, am I correct that you only had 1? If so, try getting several. See if that's helps. I wish I could fix it for you. Im a really small channel and if you can give me feedback that would help. Good luck!

You can simply just get Metal Salvage and throw it at a Stalker but this is much faster and more efficient.

You need to lure them in or go to where a few of them are. They like to be around giant kelp
