I bought it 2 years ago. With outside temperature about 5C to 10C, it covers about 15m2 easily. Set it high to warm up fast for 5-10min and then set the heater on 20-21C to preserve the temperature. Power consumption is fine if it's set in that range.
To be honest I'm not happy with this heater. Yes it works great for heating and does heat up a room from 15 to 20 degrees quite fast! Problem is the thermostat to keep the room at a stable temperature (and not wasting electricity). If I set the heater to 16 degrees, it will just continue to heat the room, even up to 22 degrees and still continues to heat the room. When checking the Mi Home app it says the temperature in the room is 17 degrees, while it is actually 22 degrees according to my Mi and Hue thermometers. I'm on latest firmware. Anyone managed to fix this? As long as the heater reads the wrong temperature in the room, it can never manage the temperature well as it should.
I thinks it's perfect for a bathroom, paired with a temperature and a motion sensor. In this way there's no power waste and everything is automatic. Thanks for the review!
Unfortunately this heater is not okey. It can be set at minimum 18 degrees Celsius or more. When the desired temperature is reached it doesn't stop heating, just lower its power from 2200 watts to 1300 watts and then to 900 watts. That way, depending on the room and isolation the temperature can rise and reach 23 degrees and beyond. YES! When set at 18 degrees. This can be corrected by an automation, but wait for it... the autimation mode doesn't work well and some of the time it doesn't work at all. Very bad purchase.

Hey Martijn, moest je je bericht lezen. Een klein vraagje, kun je de heater aansluiten op een verlengkabel? Omdat ik weinig stopcontacten heb zou ik deze willen aansluiten op een verlengkabel
Is it possible to schedule heating e.g. I would like it to automatically turn off or low down the temperature at night and turn on early morning so my room is warm before I wake up?
Hi Martijn! Quick question, is your heater bricked as well? Seems that the latest update made them non-functional in the Nordics... Any idea on how to get it back on track again?
Depends on how cold it is and how your room is insulated and many other variables. If it is 25°C outside and you turn it up to 21°C it will use no electricity :D I mean it will heat the room up to the set Temperatur with full power and then just cycle it on and of (or run with variable reduced power) to just hold that temperature. If your room is getting cold fast, it will use more power than when the room is good insulated because then the room will hold the temperature
If have it currently in the attic with a motion sensor and the temperature sensor. If there is motion between 8 AM and 10 PM and the temp is lower than 20, turn on. There are more rules that i can think of, but this one felt most important to implement first.

>The plug is also Chinese
*it also works in Australia, as we use that plug*
Is this able to heat up a large room like living or dining
Is it possible to see the electricity usage of this device in the Mi Home app?
Good question, also interested in this!
unfortunately no..
You can plug it in a smart xiaomi socket
Will it ever come out for the European market with European servers?

Thanks for the suggestion! I have it currently installed in the attic with a motion sensor and temperature :)

The plug you showed is Australian plug, not Chinese.
Hi do you know if the smartmi 1s works with google home? connected it to Mi HOME app but doesn't show in google home. maybe

Is it possible to schedule heating e.g. I would like it to automatically turn off or low down the temperature at night and turn on early morning so my room is warm before I wake up?
Yes it is.
I ordered the heater and the temperature sensor, do I need any further devices like a hub for it to work efficiently?
Hi Martijn, ik heb het probleem dat het apparaat maar blijft verwarmen ondanks dat de gevraagde temperatuur al bereikt is. Ken jij dit probleem?
Wonderful presentation.

Would it be possible to cut the Chinese plug off and wire an EU plug onto it?
Yes

Hi! Is It Google home compatible?
Can you control it through google home?

How about the price?
I can use it with Alexa?
If you set it to 23c and leave it all day how much electrical power will it use? can you test that?

Great review🤗 Does it still work great?? First one thinks Xiaomi oven.. But almost every other brands produce in China too🤗
hahahaha that was one epic start! Made me laugh!
Its so warm that you are wearing a fleece hooded jacket in your home.......
It's here 23°c and I still wear a sweater :)
